Christmas gift wrapping is one of the biggest jobs of the season around here. The Christmas shopping is something that happens all through the year with a bit more intensity the weeks before Christmas. My first task when it come to Christmas gift wrapping is to bring down all the packages, decide who is getting what, and how I can best wrap everything.
I’ve got a lot of supplies for my job. I like to have a variety of wrapping paper, bows, and ribbons. Usually, I choose fun stuff, nothing too serious. My wristband tape dispenser is a life saver too!
The whole living room is barely enough space for me to work with all my mess. I seem to have stuff all over the place, but the job will get done. I know when I’m finished the gifts will look nice and I can easily clean up. The only hope is cat bro Bert keeps on sleeping as he really makes trouble when he tries to help.
Shhh…don’t tell, but I got a joke gift for our nephew. He is eleven and loves sports, a real macho type. I like to tease him, so I got him this super silly Chia Pet. We can’t wait to see his face when he opens it! Do you like to give some prank gifts for fun too?
Back to my wrapping. Some of these boxes are pretty big for a dog my size, but I’m not afraid to get my paws totally involved in the name of wrapping.
After a considerable amount of time and effort, Christmas gift wrapping is finished. I’m pleased with how they came out, and just hope the recipients like them! Are you done with your wrapping yet?

Looks like you are an expert at gift wrapping. Perhaps, you would like to come over and help us. My human assistant is the absolute worst at wrapping and always leaves it until the last minute.
I have entered your fabulous contest, thanks!
Good luck to you on the contest! Wrapping is not an easy task, but some dog has to do it and I’m getting better with practice.
Oh I hear ya… that giftwrapping is a challenge… and the unwrapping too hehehehe :o) btw: if you have some leftovers from your wrapping paper, please throw it to me over the pond… my mom is in need LOL
I read that you are out of paper! The unwrapping is much more fun!
I think you did a pawfect job!
I did my furry best π
Good Job Emma! Looks like you have been very generous this year! I hope Santa brings you lots of great stuff too!! your doodle friend Dash
The niece and nephew always get lots of stuff, some big, some small.
Well done Emma…I think that blanket of $20 bills would make a nice gift for ME!!
Paws crossed that you will be lying under some cash very soon!
phew – you must of been exhausted after all that wrapping but you did a totally pawsome job π
It took forever, but I’m glad it is done.
Wow!! You guys are as busy as Santa’s workshop!! He should hire you! xoxo

There is a reason I wear an elf hat π
Oh Emma, where were you when Mom wrapped HER presents for us! She needed that wrist tape dispenser! Elbe is big enough now to reach the table and he LOVES things that hard plastic that crackles in his mouth. We had to ban him form teh rooml but mom stil kept loosing the tape dispenser.
Chablis
The wrist one is wonderful. I’m sure Elbe is getting into plenty of trouble this holiday season, but enjoy it. He will grow up quite fast.
Emma, you are able to handle any challenge! I am the original paper shredder so the mom would never let me help her wrap gifts. I noticed Bailie was nowhere to be seen during your wrapping session. Well, that’s a wrap for today! XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
Bailie isn’t real good at helping out with chores around the house. She is all about the fun stuff.
We could sure your help over here wrapping some Christmas presents! The Newfs like to drool all over everything! I gave the kids a prank gift this year and I can’t wait to see their faces when they open it!
We love pranks and jokes, so much fun especially with kids. I wonder if drool could replace tape?
People think the dogs wrap my gifts, but I’m just that bad. You guys are much more talented.
LOL! We have seen wrapping like that. It is the fact that you try that counts.
WOW! You do so many things well, now you’re a wrap artist too!
A wrap artist, not to be confused with a rap artist.
You’re quite the canine wrapping gang!
I always love to help out Mom when I can.
I want a Chia Pet BOL
Happy Holidays
Lily & Edward
I love the look of the Kermit one we got. Our nephew will hate it, but it will be fun!
What a big help you are, that’s awesome.
I try to help out when I can!
If only I had a helpful Christmas elf like you, Kilo would rather play with the wrapping paper and bows LOL
My cats handle the playing. I prefer to work diligently.
Mowzers, and here we thought the way to help was to sit on the wrapping paper….
There is a reason I do the wrapping when my kitties are busy napping!
My mom needs one of those tape wrist dispensers. I have never seen anyone who can lose a roll of tape like she can. Your presents looks awesome. We still have a couple to wrap…
It’s made by 3M, real handy. The tape comes out in little 2″ or so long strips. No need for thumbs!
That tape wrist dispenser is awesome!! I didn’t even know something like that existed!!! Great job helping your mom wrap presents, Emma!
Mom got one for free years ago, but they sell them at office stores. They are made by 3M and use scotch tape refills. Real handy.
Every time I get out the wrapping supplies….the crew all mysteriously disappears. I thought they wanted to help me, but now I’m not so sure! Maybe it’s because I always have to put on the Christmas music and sing along when I’m wrapping? π
Usually we all appear then it is wrapping time, but this year I got to do it all by myself.
What an awesome job you’ve done!
Thank you. I worked hard on it.
Great job. We like the gift bag approach around here because we hate to wrap.
I always have a few of those too, but we never have the right tissue paper and then things start “showing”, so we wrap mostly.
Wow, nice job, Emma! I could have used your help – I just finished all my wrapping about an hour ago. But I use a lot of gift bags, so that makes it easier. (We have these xmas bags with dogs on that the hubs and I have been giving back and forth to each other for years!) Love the Kermie Chia pet!
We love to “recycle” gift bags and bows. We have a few gift bags too, but Mom prefers it if we wrap most gifts.
You do a fantastic job wrapping, Emma. In our house, mostly the doggies get wrapped…
Smileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
That happens here too sometimes!
That’s quite an impressive job, Emma. I don’t buy many presents these days. That’s probably a good thing because I’m sure the cats would not be much help with the wrapping.
Cats can’t be around for wrapping. They create a real disaster!
Awesome job! Have a great Christmas.
Thanks! We are all set now!
I think we need to hire you to wrap next year!
I may need to open a seasonal business.
Gift wrapping is fun. I usually just supervise, but the cats generally get involved if there are any bows or dangly tags!
My cats turn the project into a disaster, so I try to do it when they are napping…which is most of the time π
Emma, I could certainly use your help over here in Doodleville. I’ve still got some wrapping to do and I must get to it today! Thanks for the reminder.
You still have some time, don’t delay!
UGH! I am not a huge fan of wrapping gifts. I mean, I don’t mind birthdays and such, but with Christmas there is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much to wrap!!!
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Tell me about it. It is always a huge project!
