I think I may get a brain freeze from this ice bag thing on my head. I smacked my head at Gramma’s house, and Mom thought I should put some ice on it to keep from getting a bump. I fell asleep. Gramma could not believe a dog would just lie there with an ice bag on its head and sleep, but that’s me! I make a real good patient with a big helping of drama queen.
Today, I’m joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop sponsored by BlogPaws! Don’t forget to stop by and visit some new blogs for fun!
Whatever works for you, my friend! Hope your head feels OK.
Mom wanted to see if I would even let her put something like that on my head, but it was no problem. I’m fine, just another bump.
I hope your head is okay – you must have really clunked it. The ice must have felt really good! XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
It didn’t bother me so much, but Mom thought it sounded painful so she put the ice bag on it.
Hope your head gets better…it looks as cool as a cucumber…cracking photo, your mum really knows her photography.
I think it was more painful for Mom to see and hear happen. It happens often when you are short.
Hope your head is OK. I guess the ice bag felt good.
It’s fine, I took a bit of a nap and was good as new.
I hope you are ok. My friends mom did the same thing yesterday. It must have been bump head day.
It doesn’t hurt dogs as much as humans I think. Mom said it must hurt, so I went with it.
Ouch! Poor Emma I hope you are doing okay now. But it’s not always a good idea to fall asleep after a concussion just so you know. Love Dolly
I think it was just a big bang on the head. At my height, it happens a lot, but Mom always thinks it will give me a headache.
OUCH! We sure hope that beautiful head is all better by now.
I’m fine. I think it hurt my mom more than me, but I enjoy being spoiled, so I let her do what she felt she should do.
Oh Emma…I sure hope you are okay. I bumped my head the other day too but I am just not the type to sit with an icebag on my head. You are a great patient!
I like to play it up big, so if Mom thinks I’m injured, I don’t mind letting her fawn over me a bit.
well that was a silly thing to do – to bump your head – hope you didn’t have a headache after it
I was good. The nap with ice felt awesome!
Awesome shot – very “Snoopy” like.
Snoopy is my hero!
Aww, ouch!! I sure hope your head is feeling better?
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
It wasn’t really that bad, but my mom always thinks it is and then I fell asleep with the ice bag which she found amusing.
You’re such a good patient!
I love to get all the attention 🙂
oh Emma! You are a cutie pie. Snoozing away with your ice pack on your head. Mom thought maybe you had a big night out and was nursing a hangover!! Silly. your doodle friend Dash
No, I just whacked my head and Mom thought it would hurt, so I let her pamper me a bit.
Bless your heart! Do you need me to come kiss it all better?? (Please say “yes!”) ♥♥♥ Bentley
I sure do! How soon can you be here?
Now are you sure you BUMPED your head… ORRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr is the the After Effects from New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day??? Just askin.
No after effects…we were in bed early and up early walking the next morning. We were very well behaved 😉
Emma, I must say you wear your ice bog well. It almost looks like a fashion accessory!!
Smileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
Maybe a new style of hat?
Ahhhh, You are beyond adorable and one day I plan to have a cuddle with you.
I love cuddles. I will keep an eye out for you!
I’m with Gramma – I never thought such a thing was possible either!
I do lots of things most humans cannot believe. Mom says I’m one of a kind. Not sure if she means that in a good or bad way.
You’re the best patient ever and simply adorable with that ice bag on your head, Emma!
Mom says I do make a good patient, but I’m also quite dramatic.
Wouldn’t that ice bag feel good in the summer, too?
Glad you are feeling better.
In the summertime I have my cool collar which is filled with ice. I love that too.
Thank you, once again, for your loving and sentimental and profound writing – it always gives my heart a jolt and makes me run to my sweet Lucy dog for hugs. In tears again!
Thank you! I hope they are happy tears and I try to give everyone something positive.
We hope you woke up feeling good as new (and not too chilly)!
I felt good. Gramma’s house has nice heating, so I’m never cold there.
Hope you’re head feels better today xx
My head feels great, but I let Mom worry and fuss over me for a bit.
Ouch! I hope your head feels better soon!
I’m at a bad height where I hit my head on tables a lot, but I think my head is solid as a rock.
It are da wrong time of year to be wearin ice.
My mom is always drinking ice water in the winter too. We love cold at our house I guess.
You are too adorable!!! Hoping you are ok! xoxoxo DakotasDen
I’m good, just soaking up some extra attention.
I hope your head is feeling better.
I’m doing fine. Mom was the one who was in pain more from hearing the thunk I think.
TOO funny, Emma, WAY too funny!
I know how to wrap my mom around my paws.
Oh Emma, you’re too funny – letting your Mom fawn over and spoil you just for a little bump on the head! And an ice bag, too. You make me laugh. ?
The ice bag was more of a curiosity challenge from Gramma, but I didn’t mind it a bit. It felt kind of good.
We sure do hope that your head is feeling better today and you don’t have a big bump!!
My head is doing fine. The ice felt really good on it.
Did you forget who you are? You’re a movie star, just in case. LeeAnna at not afraid of color
No memory loss, thank goodness. Just a nice nap with a cool head.
Aw, sweet Emma-sorry you bonked your head. Take good care and stay safe. 😉
I’m fine. I had a good nap while my head cooled off.
Great news, Emma!
Ha ha ha, it never ceases to amaze me the things some dogs will tolerate. 😀
I do put up with a lot, but it doesn’t bother me at all.
Rob always worries about the dogs getting brain freeze from eating ice cream too fast.
My mom worries about that when we eat snow, but it doesn’t seem to happen.
My theory is that my dogs’ brains aren’t directly above the roofs of their mouths… Do pugs get brain freeze?
I don’t know much about pugs except they sometimes scare me because their breathing sounds funny to me. We don’t seem to get brain freeze from eating snow, so maybe it is a human thing.
That is so adorable, I can hardly stand it!
Jean from Welcome to the Menagerie
Thanks 😉
I can’t believe you fell asleep with it on! Did it help?
Unless there is a wabbit around, I’m a pretty mellow girl, so it is no surprise I just fell asleep.
I hope your head feels better!! And have a good weekend!!
My head is fine. I had a nice cold head nap and was back to my old self.
