Today’s post is all about Smiles for our friend Sugar. I found Sugar and her blog right after I started blogging and have been online friends with her for about four years now. My mom and Sugar’s mom met at BlogPaws in 2013, and the next year, Bailie and I had the honor of meeting Sugar at BlogPaws in Vegas. Sugar is always showing off her golden smile.
Sugar is 14 1/2 years old and has to have surgery tomorrow to remove a fast growing tumor. We are thinking back to our time with her in Vegas and what a sweet soul she is. Bailie and I are sending her loads of GBGV hugs.
Even at her age, Sugar is a very active dog. This photo was taken during a walk together in Vegas. We wish her a successful surgery and a speedy recovery, so she can get back to her regular life. Sugar has a super busy calendar with all her blogging activities, even at her age! We hope to meet up with Sugar this summer at BlogPaws in Phoenix!
Of course, get well wishes wouldn’t be from my heart without some silliness on my part. I took this photo for Sugar’s birthday a few years back but find it appropriate for this post as well. Smiles help to relieve stress, and smiling is contagious. We are all praying for you and thinking of you Sugar! Stay strong!
This is a Blogville “Smiles for Sugar” blog hop hosted by our friend Oz the Terrier. For bloggers, the Blogville community is such a wonderful group of support for all of us. Please stop by and offer Sugar and her family some love during this difficult time.
