What do wabbits and hooves have in common? Pretty simple! They both can be found at Jones Natural Chews in the form of tasty, healthy treats and chews!
I got this box in my mailbox the other day. My good friend Flea had told me she was sending me a surprise because I was such a good commentor on her blog last year. Miss Flea works for Jones Natural Chews and I know they have pawsome treats and chews, so I was really excited!
Mom, Bailie, and I have met Miss Flea a couple times now at BlogPaws and she knows I’m a wabbit fanatic. Can you even stand it! She sent me a bag of
WRabbit Jerky! She knows Bailie has become a connoisseur of hooves since she got her first one last May, so she sent a couple of those along too! The aroma is incredible, especially for a scent hound like me!
Here is another question for you all. How do you make a GBGV girl smile? Give her a bag of
WRabbit Jerky!
Waiting to get a piece was a torture! I’ve had it before and I know it is heavenly! I really want to eat the entire bag, but Mom says I have to save some for later and share with Katie. The
WRabbit Jerky is hard, which means it can also be broken easily into smaller pieces in case you are a smaller dog, or just a crazy dog who doesn’t want to eat an entire piece!
Katie was happy to give the
WRabbit Jerky a try. She has gotten older, but she always has an appetite for treats!
Moving on to the hooves which I normally am not interested in. Well, I say normally because this time I wanted a hoof too. Mom gave Bailie the first of the two hooves. You can see the anticipation in her beady eyes.
The second hoof is black, and I got to give it a try. My first instinct was to quietly slink away with it before anyone could steal it. Hooves do have a down side for humans…they can smell like a barn when we start chewing. Some are worse than others, but if your human has a sensitive nose, these might be best enjoyed outdoors. We are allowed to chew on ours inside…we have air freshener!
I like to munch on a new hoof for a bit, but Bailie really likes to go to town on these hooves. Check out her focus in the short video.
Since I decided to chew on hooves, we had a bit of a hoof war going on at my house for about two days. Bailie and I were arguing over which of the hooves was the best and we kept stealing from each other. Eventually, I lost interest, and Bailie now has both of them, but I still have the
WRabbit Jerky!
Thank you Flea! I know you didn’t ask me to post anything, but since the hooves and WRabbit Jerky are so good, I couldn’t help myself!
that rabbit jerky looks very tasty indeed – we use to love hoofs (but they do tend to get a bit stinky after a few chews)
Mom has figured out they stink like crazy the first few days, but then the smell dissipates. Some are more smelly than others too, but Bailie enjoys them so much, we overlook the stink.
oh that hooves look delicious! and that hooves aren’t made for walking but for chewing, right?
Well, kind of. I would not try to chew on a hoof still attached to a cow, that will not end well. Wait until the hoof is off the cow first.
What lucky dogs you are, Emma, those look yummy! The crew has had the jerky before and loves it. They told me I’d better start commenting over at Flea’s blog more! π
I was so happy and surprised! Flea knows what we girls love!
Jones has everything don’t they!?!
My huskies absolutely love hooves!
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
I like them only when they are pretty new out of the package, but Bailie will chew on them for months.
Both the Wabbit Jerky and the hooves look delish! You and Bailie share so well. I could possibly get a tad bit upset if a Boston were to try and share hooves. I love to chew on hard stuff! XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
We don’t really share so well. It’s more like one of us gets up to go get a drink and the other steals the hoof left on the floor.
Thank you, Emma, for sharing! Your mom is an amazing photographer. π And I’m glad you enjoy wabbit so much! Maybe next time I’ll send you a real wabbit …
Thank you Flea. We love you and your treats! We have so many real wabbits around here, but they have stopped coming into our yard when we are outside. I think the word is out about my love of wabbit hunting. I think my photographer is improving, but since I am such a good model, it really helps π
Oh boy. We never tasted no rabbit jerky
Lily & Edward
You better find some Jones Rabbit Jerky. You would love it! It is so yummy!
Hiding behind the potted plant to get first dibs on the treats – great move!
I love to hide behind the potted plants! I know no one can find me there!
GOODNESS gracious!! THAT was a super surprise fur Certain. WE have never had Wrabbit Jerky before…. butt OH THOSE HOOVES…. WE LOVE EM…. and WE always have troubles over WHO happens to have Pawsession of the BESTEST one… MOM can’t TELL how WE know the Bestest one… so she keeps buying both colors and trying to GUESS.
WE love the AROMA… mom ..not so much… butt she Still allows us to have them INSIDE. Beclaws WE make the Rules… Just sayin.
My mom didn’t know they had odor, so the first time she gave us one last summer, she came home and thought someone had had an accident in the house or something, but then realized it was the hooves! She lets us eat them indoors as the smell dissipates in a few days. Bailie and I have the hoof wars trading back and forth for a while. They are all good I would say, and the wabbit jerky, oh man…gotta get yourself some of that!
Isn’t Miss Flea nice? I bet she has dogs following her everywhere she goes.
She is so nice. I always want to stay at her booth at BlogPaws for the entire conference, and I like to defend it from other dogs, but Mom says that is not allowed. Such a shame.
YUMMY! We β₯ LOVE β₯ Jones Chews and Miss Flea! She sent us three bags of Rocky’s Rollers for commenting on her blog. How cool is that to get a treat for reading one of our favorite blogs? We keep hooves to gnaw on but Mom always puts them up after a while. Rabbit jerky sounds delish. βΊ
Bailie is our hoof expert. She has four or five placed around the house for those times you just need to chew a hoof. I bet the Rocky’s Rollers were tasty too. I’m all about the wabbit, which isn’t a real surprise for anyone to hear!
We’ve never had hooves before, i bet they are yummy.
The hooves and antlers are all really Bailie’s department. She has them all over the house, so they are just a paw reach away if the urge hits. She loves to chew on them and they seem to last a very long time.
Dang, you sure get to try some interesting body parts MOL!
I don’t think you kitties would like the hooves. Even cat bro Bert isn’t interested in them, but he does want my wabbit jerky!
Looks tasty!
Awesome stuff!
Those sound delicious! I bet the girls would love them!
I know they would!
don’t wabbits and hooves both come from jackalopes??? You find these varmints out west. In an event, we need to try them. Hooves we do already..
I’ve never met a Jackalope, but these come from wabbits and from cows.Love the hooves for good chewing and the wabbit jerky for something tasty!
OMD…We can tell by the look on your face, that wabbit jerky must be totally delicious!!
Smileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
I’m a huge fan of anything wabbit…hunting, watching, eating…love wabbit!
I can’t believe you shared with you sisters! I would have kept them all to myself!!! π
I have to share the jerky somewhat, and the hooves I don’t mind as Bailie is the one who really gets into them. Me, I only have interest for a day or two.
Lucky you. Jones treats are the best!
They are so tasty and awesome!
Great stuff girls, we love Jones too!
I think any dog that is alive does.
Hoof must be tasty, Sam loves ’em too. And pigs ear which really smell. Eew.
We love pigs ears too, but usually have dehydrated cows ears, less mess, less fat.
We are big Jones fans in our house too. The favorites are the lamb lung puffs, the taffy and the new Rocky’s Rollers. I try to stay away from the hooves because…well I have a sensitive nose and I can’t stand how the dog’s breath smells after they’ve chewed one. π
Mom’s nose is not sensitive thank goodness, so she lets us have the stinky stuff too.
Jones is the real deal Emma! We love em’
They are amazingly tasty! Can’t wait to visit Flea’s booth again this year!
