Where can I find Instinct Raw Boost Mixers
A couple weeks ago, I wrote about my shopping trip to my local PetSmart to pick up some Instinct Raw Boost Mixers. I found they come in four flavors, beef, turkey, chicken, and lamb. Since lamb is something we don’t get very often, I chose to purchase lamb. Just a reminder, the mixers are on sale at PetSmart through the end of January. The trial sized bags are $1.99 each, or three for $5, and the large bags are on sale at 20% off.
Why feed Instinct Raw Boost Mixers
Instinct Raw Boost Mixers are an easy way to supplement your dogs current diet with freeze dried raw! The mixers are all natural, grain free, and packed with protein. Pure animal protein is good for lean muscles and strong bone. The natural oils are good for healthy skin, and a healthy coat. Nutrient absorption is optimized through the natural ingredients.
Will my dog like Instinct Raw Boost Mixers
I adore the taste, and so do both of my sisters! Dogs love the taste of raw because it is what we are born to eat. If your dog has food issues, there are four flavors to choose from, and you can always get a few trial size packages to test out with your dog.
How do I serve Instinct Raw Boost Mixers
1. Serve as a meal topper
Raw boost mixers are super easy to serve. Simply open the bag, and add to your dogs daily kibble portion as a topper. Remember to feed less of the regular kibble. Each bag has the feeding directions for your dog on the back. There is no need to add water, or to mix in the freeze dried raw pieces.
2. Serve as training reward
These pieces are the perfect size for training rewards! Since we love the taste so much, Mom often uses the freeze dried raw for high value nose work and tracking rewards. We work hard for such good food!
Changes in my dog with Instinct Raw Boost Mixers
We are all much more interested in mealtime, and our “output” has diminished slightly which means our bodies are using the food more efficiently. I’ve always been a real slow, picky eater, but with the toppers on my meals, I get my head right into the bowl and chow down. My senior sister Katie who isn’t much for eating at all these days also eats much more when her food has raw boost mixers.
Warning about Instinct Raw Boost Mixers
Don’t leave the bag unattended as it will be emptied out in no time flat!

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Nature’s Variety. The opinions and text are all mine.
we love having this added to our food occasionally – Mom is one of those who thinks we need variety and always finds something new every few weeks for us to try
We rotate our food brand/flavor every three weeks. We have two brands, each has three flavors, so that gets us variety, and we alternate between raw toppers and a small portion of wet food as a topper. Variety keeps the enthusiasm for mealtime way up.
Emma you sure know how to mix up a mean nummy meal, enjoy.
Great at mealtime and as a super yummy training reward!
It’s great that they are super tasty to be a reward or a snack too. 4 paws for this tasty review :o)
I’ve been getting these for nose work rewards at class and I just can’t get enough!
I wish they came in vension or duck for those who have allergies b
What about lamb? They have beef, turkey, chicken and beef. We are loving the lamb.
Great shot of Emma chowing down in the snow. She looks so content.
Good food and light snow in the winter is a great combination for GBGV tranquility.
These are so great! I will have to pick some up for the huskies!

We do love winter at our house!
That was a terrific review! Hey, my Dad says I’m often mixed up!
Thanks. My cat bro Bert likes these too. He is always stealing them from us.
Oh my sweetie! We have once again proved why we are such a perfect couple. We are mixing it up on our post today too! Don’t Raw Boost Mixers make mealtime better? ♥ ♥
I know. When I saw your post I knew we were destined to be on the same page once again! I love these and really love them for nose work rewards. So yummy!
This is a great food for high value rewards, too. Emma looks like she is loving it.
You should see me at nose work class when I figure out I’m getting these for my reward! I go all wild! Good stuff!
I guess those were a hit!
Oh yes, they sure are! I really love them as nose work rewards best!
Of course, how could you resist sticking your head right in there, Emma? The crew loved the lamb ones we tried and I just ordered some turkey. I hope they might come up with more novel proteins too – perhaps wabbit? 🙂
We get freeze dried raw from some other companies and they have wild boar which is a good one too!
We’re always looking for new training rewards for Archer! Although he’s a Lab and get excited for his plain old kibble. Thanks for sharing!
Some dogs will work hard for just their normal food, but something extra special is nice and adds motivation!
We love those Raw Boost mixers so much … mama had to go to the store TWICE this week!! We just love ’em even for snacks!!
They are great as snacks too! Enjoy!
Any reason you switch up their food other than for variety? I switch their wet food, but am pretty happy with a Merrick Limited Ingredient, though Emma makes their raw, as well as this raw, look very good!
We switch mainly for variety, and since the brands are so similar there are no issues. We also think there is less chance of developing allergies or issues with one protein source when you switch it up more. The raw infused and extra raw boosters are just a healthy option to add to a meal and to add some good protein. All the switching keeps Katie interested in eating more too.
