I’m all decked out today in my Mardi Gras fashions! You know I love to be fashionable and I love a good party, which makes Mardi Gras a fun occasion for this hound! Are you celebrating today too? It’s Fat Tuesday, you know!
Being from England, I always enjoy looking like a queen. I think I get the queen effect wearing my Mardi Gras crown. Do you agree?
When I’m a queen, I trade in my beads for this pretty garland. It is much more regal looking.
My favorite Mardi Gras fashion…is what I like to call it the masked hound look. It really comes off well on a windy day!
Take special note of my beads. My love, Bentley gave them to me almost two years ago. They are extra special, not your average cheap round Mardi Gras beads most folks are wearing. I think they look great with my mask too.
As you know, the Brits love their crazy hats, and I carry that craziness over to my masks. This feathered mask is over the top fashionable. I’ve chosen to pair it with my average beads, the ones everyone wears. I think it makes a nice combination.
If you really live it up today, don’t be surprised if your mask ends up a bit crooked. Mardi Gras fashion doesn’t mean things have to be perfect. Everyone will just know you had a bit too much fun! Enjoy everyone!

I don’t really do French. I stick to the basic hound howls, LOL. I wonder if I can howl properly with a mask on? I better give that a try.

I’m a very modest girl. My mom was in New Orleans several times for Mardi Gras. I don’t know why, but she claims she doesn’t remember much of it. Strange.
