Mom took Bailie along to Gramma’s house on the weekend, and Bailie found the toy basket. The toy basket used to be in a different spot, but she rediscovered it.
She did her best but really struggled to make sense of these giant cards becoming a house.
Dr. Seuss is always a hit with us dogs. Bailie found The Cat in the Hat and did some reading.
There was a big can of Dominos to play with as well, but they had Bailie really baffled.
Just an FYI, I Peanutized myself! If you follow me on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, you have already seen this photo. I often post other fun photos and videos on my social media accounts that never come to my blog. I’m taking a couple days off to rest up for my tracking test, so Bailie has the post today, cat bro Bert will be reviewing a toy he cannot destroy tomorrow, and on Friday, we’ll be talking about the mitral valve tumor the cardiologist found in Katie’s heart. No worries, I’ll be back in all my fur on Sunday!
Today, Iβm joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop sponsored by BlogPaws! Donβt forget to stop by and visit some new blogs for fun!
So much fun at grandmas right Bailie! I love the Cat in the Hat! Can’t wait to see Bert’s post tomorrow!
We all love visiting Gramma. She has cookies for us, and it is always fun.
giant cards and giant dominos – mom says she needs some of those – so much easier to see π
The giant cards are kind of odd, but interesting. They do make giant cards for playing cards.
Your eyeliner is looking glam
Bailie works hard on putting it on every morning, LOL!
that house of cards is a game for pro’s right? it’s not easy to build a card house, my momma never got one … no matter how long she tried that :o) Bert, wait a moment with your post please… I’m on the way to help you with that toy :o)
Funny thing is, he can’t figure out how to eat it, but we heard a crunch and guess what? Yep, Bailie had it and wanted to crunch it. Now it is a supervised toy only or Bailie will kill it.
That’s a great toy basket Emma! I miss the toy box at Grandma’s but that’s okay since it’s pretty much mine here now! Love Dolly
It’s always fun to go to other homes and play with different toys.
You reminded me of going to my grandmother’s house when I was a very young child. She kept toys and games in her closet. It used to be so exciting to discover what fun things she had for us. Get you some rest. β₯ β₯
My mom always looked for toy baskets as a kid. Maybe you should start setting up one for your new grandbaby with some cute books, baby toys, so she gets used to finding fun stuff in your basket or closet.
We are liking that toy box
Lily & Edward
It used to have dog toys, but they wore out.
Rest up for that tracking test. Sending pawsitive thoughts to you, Emma! XOXO Sparkle
I will do my best, but Mom says confidence is kind of low right now. I hope to surprise her.
Who knew House of Cards was a book before going to Netflix π
Well, it is more of a game. Leave it to Gramma to be up on the latest trends.
Bailie looks like she had a great time at Grandma’s house.
She did. We always enjoy our 1 on 1 outings.
Lol! Bailie looks a bit suspicious of that ole Hat in the Cat!
She knows not to trust a cat!
Rest up girlfriend – we’ll enjoy reading about Bailey and hearing all about Katie while we await your return.
Thanks. I’m just putting my paws up a bit and studying my tracking manuals…LOL!
Bailie seems a little confused about the strange toys in Gramma’s box! Emma, you enjoy your little break , rest up, and study hard for your test….we know you’re going to do well!
Bailie was looking for a chew toy or something but didn’t find any.
OMD that looks REALLY fun… we wish WE had a grandma.
It’s always fun at Gramma’s house! We love Gramma.
Hey sweet Bailie, I’m a cat in a hat too! Come Bro Bert, you can do it!!!
Dr. Seuss books are so fun to read.
Those giant cards are too cool, what a great visit.
I don’t really get the building part, but they are pretty neat. Mom’s nephew is good at building with them.
Those look like some fun toys – although, yeah, they all look a bit baffling for pups! Bailey did a good job covering for you on the blog, Emma. Hope you get rested up!
Sometimes baffling gets the brain going.
Wow! Your grandma has some really cool things in her toybox! It doesn’t look anything like ours…ours is full of stuffies and chewies! π Bet you all had a blast!
She used to have some dog toys too, but they pretty much wore out.
Looks to us as if that toy box could use a few doggie toys. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
The dog toys all died, so we are left with kids toys.
I’d be puzzled by that toy box too, I didn’t see anything in there that was specifically for dogs. π
Funny thing in my house, we have a basket of the dog’s toys and we also have a box with coloring books, books, crayons and games for the children. Guess which basket most kids go to? π
Good luck with your tracking Emma!
There used to be dog stuff, but it all pretty much died and we are left with kids toys.
BOL and what is up with all the i’s missing in our comments?
Hmmm…on the back end they are there which is where I read them, but I see on the front end they are missing. I will have to look into this. Thanks!
Toy boxes at the Gramma’s house are FUN! We love that book. π Mine would chew up the dominos, though. They’re rather naughty. Nowhere near as behaved as you!
Gramma used to have dog toys, but they all “died” over the years, so we are left with kids toys. We are pretty well behaved with them.
Toy boxes can be so confusing. lol
