I’m joining some of my blogging friends in supporting my good friend Flea who was recently diagnosed with colon cancer in the #Fight4Flea blog hop. Thank you to Bentley from Barking from the Bayou, and Oz from Oz the Terrier for setting this up! Flea is such a wonderful person and friend, but she also has the most wonderful dog treats and chews – Jones Natural Chews.
Why am I hugging a JNC bag? I wanted to hug Flea but because of her current chemo treatments she can’t risk getting germs, so hugging dogs that don’t live with her is out. She also lives in Oklahoma, I’m in Minnesota, and my hugging legs are short. I decided the best way to hug Flea at this point in time is to hug this bag she touched last year, so GBGV hugs to you Flea!
Flea always goes to BlogPaws. Mom has now met her three times, Bailie and I twice, but in looking for a photo of us with Flea, we realized we only have photos of us with the Jones booth, no Flea to be seen which is sad! Before she found out about her cancer I wrote a post about hooves and wabbit jerky and realized I had no photos of her. I was hoping to get some good shots this year at BlogPaws, but it is looking like we will have to wait until 2017. Beware, Flea, when hugs are allowed for you again, we are going to really hug you up good!
Are you a fan of leather bracelets, or would you like to help support our friend Flea? She has an Etsy shop, The Good Flea, where she is selling these handmade bracelets if you are interested.
My advice to you, Flea, is to take this battle one day at a time. Keep your sense of humor. Eat lots of wabbit jerky. When the going gets tough, gnaw on a hoof. Remember all of us dogs are thinking of you, and counting on you to keep supplying the canine world with JNC treats and chews!
We love you Flea and wish you all the best! Emma, Bailie, and our mom
We have tried a couple times to leave a comment…so hope this works! We know all of Blogville is cheering and praying for Flea. Hope she feels the love.
It worked. Got your comment! We sure hope the best for Flea too.
That was a great idea to hug that bag of treats since you can’t actually hug Flea, Emma. We are sure she can feel the love and support, and all of it is going to go a long way towards helping her through this very tough time.
A girl has to do what she has to do, even if it is resorting to hugging a bag for a good cause.
Get better soon Flea. We want to see a picture of Emma hugging you!
Mom and I are still in shock we have zero photos of Flea in any form.
You are so very kind, Emma. Thinking pawsitive thoughts for your friend, Flea. XOXO Sparkle
Thank you. She will appreciate it.
We all send purrs and hugs to dear Flea and hope he fights a good fight for a long, long time.
We hope things go well and she will get through this. She is such a nice person!
Love flea and praying she kicks this cancer!! What a great hug you gave!
Cancer and tumors need to be made illegal. They are so awful.
Praying for you health.
Thanks for hopping with us! We know that your cute face is just what Flea needs to put a smile on her face! β₯ β₯ β₯
