Welcome to the first day of spring 2016! It’s true what they say, time goes faster as a dog gets older. I feel like winter just started and now it is in my rear view mirror! Spring has sprung I guess, despite being only 21 degrees this morning!
Make sure and stop back tomorrow. I’ll be in the kitchen wearing my new spring apron, whipping up a nice appetizer for your dog’s Easter Brunch! As always, I will share my recipe too!

Good Morning Emma! It’s a bit chilly here in Greenville this morning too – only 45•f – after more than two weeks of temps in the 70s and low 80s during the day. We can’t wait to see what you have cooking. And your bunny ears are adorable!
We like the chilly mornings for our runs and walks, but are happy the snow is gone now.

It is cold here too, but the sun is out and we can feel the energy of the sun bringing warmer weather our way.

Happy Spring! I woke up to heavy white stuff falling on the white ground. I licked it and it tasted good. I ran and did a lot of barking. Mom and Dad were NOT happy because it is Sunday, and the neighbors are still sleeping. Why do we have white stuff in Spring? I thought that was a Winter thing! Yesterday I turned 7 months old and went to an Easter egg hunt for dogs and I won a $25 gift card to a pet store near us. All we had to do was find the smelly eggs and touch our noses to them. I think I am going to like nose work! This weather is very confusing to me, but I KNOW I like your pretty flowers and apron. Elbe
I’m looking forward to our nose work Easter egg hunt next week. Our snow from yesterday is mostly gone, but they say we may get more later this week. March is always hit and miss with snow. Have fun and don’t worry about the neighbors. I know they always enjoy listening to hounds howling and barking any time of the day.
