Oh my dog, yes! I got a bath day before yesterday. The mom said I was so pretty and clean AND smelled so good. I took a new path through the backyard and added a brand new activity to my life…I found some sand combined with dirt and rolled, and rolled, and rolled in it! My white was gray, my face was muddy (because I had to get a drink) and the mom said I stink, stank, stunk! She is going to get some sod to cover up my sand pit. XOXO Sparkle
LOL! Bailie has a hole she has been digging by a shrub. It is currently exposed, but once the leaves come out, she will be back in there working I’m sure!
new paths are interesting and mostly they lead to a place we will love… eggscept the paths of the mama what led us to the dumpster ground of a farm while geo caching :o)
I bet the dumpster smelled great. We practice searching dumpsters for nose work to teach us to focus on the correct odor, not the dumpster smells.

that has always been our philosophy – when we see a path – lets follow it and see where it leads us – we have got lost many a time doing that – but it is still fun 🙂

It’s a great one! I’m always sniffing out stuff on our walks, Bailie has her nose dragging on the ground 99% of the time. I’m surprised it hasn’t worn off by now!

I do have a serious side, and my mom says the older I get the more serious I get too.
We always want to explore all of the new trails or roads we see that we haven’t been down before (unfortunately there’s not always time to do so though!).
Mom wishes she could spend the entire day with us outside exploring and doing dog sports, but that “work” thing really cramps our style!

Routine is comfortable, but a bit boring. Get out there and try something new, or take your usual path and do it backwards, or walk on the other side of the street to spice things up.

I do enjoy traveling new paths! In fact, we’re attending a “mental management” nosework seminar this weekend to work on competing with confidence! So that’s technically a new path. 😉
We have our NW1 and NW3 trials on the 7th and 8th, and the following weekend we have a mental management seminar on one day with a working spot on the other. We wish it had been before the trials, but we will survive. We are so looking forward to all the new nose work experiences coming up. I’m confident, but Mom is pretty scared of the NW3. It will be a true adventure for team Emma.

We have to stay in our garden, but finding new paths sounds like a lot of fun ! Purrs

If you never try, you will never know, so we always try new paths.
My Tyler loved to chew on ears but i bought some for Aspen and Mica. They have been laying there for weeks noone wants to chew on them.
That is a bummer. We all enjoy ears.
We have always enjoyed exploring new trails and paths, right now we haven’t been able to. I hope we have more paths to enjoy.
