What do you get when you combine duck and pumpkin? Tasty HillsยฎIdeal BalanceโขSoft -Baked Naturals from Chewy.com!
I’ve had Hill’s Soft-Baked Naturals before, but not duck and pumpkin which happen to be two of my favorite treat varieties! I have never had these two ingredients combined before but I now know it creates a huge flavor burst on a dog’s palate!
These cute treats are not that big, and because they are soft, they can easily be broken up into smaller pieces if your human would like to cheat you out of an entire piece! Some pet parents like to be real treat stingy, unfortunately for us dogs! As a whole treat, they are only about 12 calories, so I don’t see a need to break them up any smaller!
As you look at these delicacies falling out of the bag, I would like to point out some of the reasons we like these Hills Ideal Balance Soft-Baked Naturals duck and pumpkin flavor.
- Grain-free, natural treats
- Real duck is the #1 ingredient
- Recommended for adult dogs
- No corn, wheat, soy, added artificial preservatives, colors or flavors
- Made in the USA
Let’s get down to business and have a taste, shall we? The aroma is fantastic and really gets my salivary glands going!
Oh boy, I really love the taste of these treats! Lucky for Mom’s fingers, I’m gentle when I take treats!
I bet you would love to get your paws on a bag of these, wouldn’t you? Don’t come sniffing around my yard because I ate these all up myself! No dog would leave such treasure lying around.
Simply hop on over to Chewy.com and order up some for yourself. They have fast delivery, usually two to three days, and excellent customer service if you have questions or any problems!

You should get a job in marketing! Fantastic!
Oooh, Emma those sound delicious! Like you, I love duck and pumpkin. I will definitely have to try these treats.
The flavor is great and I like that they are soft.
Neither one of my girls are “fond” of duck, so we won’t be trying those treats. But I bet “normal” dogs like you and your sisters love them. Enjoy! We won’t be reviewing anything this month.
No duck? Wow! We really like duck, but don’t get it too often.
OMD…These sound perfect for Arty (he is restricted to lamb and duck)!! They will be going on our Chewy shopping list for sure!!
Smileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
And they are soft, and chewy too. A little something to bribe politicians with!

Soft pumpkin and duck is perfect for a small in between snack. We like pumpkin year round here too.
OMD! You had me a duck! โฅ โฅ I love soft treats but it is a rip off when Mom tries to cheat us out a full piece.
Nothing worse than a mom being stingy! One of the best things that ever happened was at nose work camp when the instructor told pet parents to always be very generous with rewards/treats, never stingy. Mom got the drift, thank dog!
Those look delicious!
They are perfect sized for small snack times.
That sounds like a good combination that our crew would love. I would only break them into pieces for training. ๐
Thankfully, we usually get them whole.
The orange and quacky sounds pretty darn good!
They are real yummy.
Sounds like “Double Doodle*licious to us!
I bet you boys would love these for small taste bud teasers!
I bet brown dawgs would love those. ๐
And they are small for any calorie counting pups.
My pooches would love these, since they’re older, they prefer softer treats, and I like that softer treats don’t leave all the crumbs the dry treats can!
That is a very good point. We are always licking up dry treat crumbs.
Mmmm…. duck and pumpkin! Rudy and Rosie are drooling.
I bet they are. Super tasty combo!
Mmmm…you had us at pumpkin!
I know! I love pumpkin too!
