I’m whipping up some All American Parfaits for dogs for the upcoming Memorial Day holiday! Trust me, your dog will love these tasty treats! I’ll show you how I make them and share my recipe at the end of this post.
You can make these parfaits in a jiffy! You only need a few ingredients and you can get started! Freezing them and then softening them in the refrigerator are the only steps that take some time.
The crust is the first thing you have to make. Grind up the kibble, add some melted coconut oil until it is a moist mixture. Press the mixture into the bottom of silicone cupcake molds so it is about 1/4 inch thick. Place in the oven and bake for seven to eight minutes. Remove from the oven, leave the crusts in the molds, and cool completely.
While crust is baking and then cooling, you need to puree the strawberries. Wash and dice them, and put them in a container to puree them.
Make sure you puree them until they are nice and smooth, not lumpy.
These are All American Parfaits for Memorial Day, so red, white, and blue are the key. Layer about 1/2 inch of strawberry puree on top of your crust, add about 1/2 inch of yogurt on top of the strawberry layer, being careful to keep the red out of the white. I find my tongue works well to gently smooth the yogurt over the strawberries. Top the yogurt with whole blueberries. As with everything I make, I do suggest taste testing along the way.
Place the parfaits into the freezer until they are firm. Remove from their molds and place in the refrigerator to soften. Serve these beautiful desserts on a festive plate.
Don’t be shy, go ahead and have a lick or two of your tasty desserts! They are really good and perfect for a hot day!

Those look beautiful and delish! I hear we will not be celebrating this Memorial Day. The mom is going AWOL to Alaska for 10 days. She has a very nice lady coming to house sit and take care of us. XOXO Sparkle
I would demand the sitter make them for you.
wowzers that looks yummy
They are tasty.
Looks and sounds so yummy! Thanks for the recipe!
You are welcome. They are nice treats.
My dogs want to come live at your house so they can have all the yummy treats.
We have a pretty big house, so they would have plenty of space.
We’ll be right there

I might have to get numbers for dogs to take as they wait.

Better hurry, they won’t last long.
Emma, we definitely think you need your very own cooking show…or at least a cookbook!! What a great recipe!!
Smileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
I could do a cookbook! I need a publisher.
I’m laughing because I’m imagining putting these out at a Memorial Day party and watching as my friends & family ooh & aww at them until I say don’t touch, they’re for the dogs.
Now that would be funny. I bet one person would not buy it and actually try one.
Yum! Those look delicious! Great job, Emma!
Thank you.
Okay, I need a drool towel, stat! These look amazing and perfect for the holiday weekend.
Easy, tasty, and fairly healthy…drooling…
Wow, Emma, those look awesome. You really know how to celebrate the holidays around there!
You know I love to work in the kitchen.
Gorgeous treats! Substitute graham cracker crumbs for the kibble, and Mom says she would eat them like crazy! YUM!
Love and licks,
Cupcake
I based the crust on a human cheese cake crust but used kibble and coconut oil instead of crackers and butter. Yum!
Crikey …… I’m going to make some of those for Australia day. Lucky our flag’s red white and blue too, aye??
They will be All Australian Parfaits!
You are such a good cook Emma! Those look delicious! Love Dolly
Thanks. They are nice and tasty treats.
Now that looks like something I think I can master. Thanks Emma
I think you can. It is pretty easy. The crust was the hardest part but it is simple too.
Those look super yummy. You are lucky doggies to get such yummy treats.
We try to whip up something special once a month or so.
