Chicken jerky, where does it really come from? Over the weekend, being home alone, I had time to ponder this question. Until recently, I only knew chickens make eggs. My hen often lays a couple eggs for me on the deck out back. I love to have eggs with my breakfast on the weekends!
Now imagine my surprise when I opened the front door and found my hen on the front step looking like she had laid a package from Chewy.com! I think this hen is messing with my mind, don’t you? I know hens lay tasty stuff, so I got my tongue right out there!
You know I love Chewy.com! They have over 18,000 items for pets ready to ship at the drop of a dog bone! Their customer service is phenominal – 24/7/365, prices are great, and delivery is speedy! We order our food and snacks from them all the time!
What was in that envelope my hen laid for me? It sure smells to me like some chicken jerky!

The crew thinks that those sure look tasty! If it’s not made from real chicken, then we don’t want ’em – these sure do fit the bill!
If they aren’t real chicken, they shouldn’t even be called chicken!
Those treats look delicious!
Very good, but they don’t last long!
Shiner thinks she needs to get her paws on one of those hens!
