Fromm Salmon with Sweet Potato Recipe treats are the subject of my review this month for Chewy.com. Being a #ChewyInfluencer, I try out various products each month. It’s a tough job, but some dog has to do it!
I love Chewy.com. We are always ordering treats, food, cat food, and even kennels from them! The shipping is free on orders of $49 or more and our orders are usually more than that! We get our shipment just a couple days after placing our order too! If you haven’t tried ordering with Chewy.com, you really should give it a try!
Let’s have a look at these treats. They are about the size of a quarter and about 1/4 inch thick – a nice size for a quick snack. The treats are baked, grain free, easy to digest, are loaded with nutrients to help keep a dog’s skin and coat healthy, and the DHA also helps with cognitive development! Four-Star Nutritionals Dog Treats are made in a USDA-inspected facility from human grade ingredients.
I think it is time for me to give them a try. You may recall, I’m a pretty picky eater, and these treats have me a bit suspicious. I’m very cautious taking the treat from my mom. Sweet potato is something I don’t usually like, but depending on how it is used, I sometimes love it.
Because I wasn’t wild about these treats, it was not a problem for me to do some silly tricks for the camera with the treats. Bailie who usually eats anything was also a bit cautious with these treats. She did, however, eat them.
I’m always honest with you all. These are not my favorite treats ever, but they are healthy, and I could eat them. I have decided to give them my smirk treatment rather than a tongue out Tuesday today. In the past I have tried other Fromm treats and loved them, most likely it is the sweet potato I’m not wild about.
I received one bag of Fromm Salmon and Sweet Potato Recipe Treats for Dogs from Chewy.com to review as a member of the Chewy Influencer Program. I did not receive any monetary compensation for this review, and I receive no additional benefits for barking about the product or the company. The opinions in this review are my own honest opinions.
Gosh, they sounded good to me. I like anything with salmon and sweet potato (so does my human, but I won’t let her have any). Sorry, they weren’t your favorite
Sweet potato and I have a weird relationship. Sometimes I’m wild about them, sometimes not so much. Usually the salmon will win me over.
Emma!! You are just like me! My sister will eat up treats without thinking (most of the time) but I am very picky and sweet potato… well… not my favorite. Mom says I am persnickety (whatever that is) I say I have a very discerning taste… have a great day, your doodle friend Dash.
We finer dogs know better to eat anything that comes along. Our palates have a right to pick and choose what they will eat.
I am a picky eater too! I love your smile/smirk! XOXO Sparkle
I’m one who won’t take a new treat and just eat it either. I need to sniff and lick it first. My mom is a super picky eater, so she understands!
Well, I guess you can’t love every treat.
Bailie can, but I’m too picky. Mom thought I would like the salmon, but she was wrong.
We like those treats!
Lily & Edward
These had too much sweet potato flavor for me, but Bailie will eat them.
there is salmon inside Emma… and you said “no thanks”? what was wrong with that treats? … can you send one as a mail attachment so I maybe can check it for you?
Bailie says they are fine, but I can be real picky sometimes. If you lived closer, I would donate them to you.
We’ve also had other Fromm’s treats and the crew has loved them, but I’m not sure if they’ve tried this flavor yet. However, none of them are what you’d call picky…the only thing they’ve turned down is fresh fruits and veggies so far!
I’ve been real picky my whole life, so it is no surprise, but usually when the sweet potato is mixed with something I like the treats. Oh well.
We eat Fromm kibble and we love it and we have had these treats before and we LOVE them! Thank you for your honest review, Emma!
I guess not every dog can love every treat. I know Bailie gets lots of treats because I won’t eat them. I’m not even a dog who will try new things sometimes. It happens, but Fromm is good stuff. I’ve like other treats in the past.
Oh Emma, I am sorry you didn’t love those treats. I would’ve thought the salmon would have made them super tasty. I usually love treats from Fromms.
I’ve enjoyed other Fromm’s treats, and Mom thought the salmon would be so good I would love them, but they are not really my flavor. More for Bailie.
We always love your honesty, Emma. Mama doesn’t usually get us fishy treats anyway…
Smileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
“Honestly”, if these smelled fishy, I may have loved them, but Mom couldn’t smell anything fishy about them.
I usually smirk and anything with sweet taters too!
Cat bro Bert never smirks with food!
We eat Fromm Chicken a la Veg for our regular food and we just finished a bag of these treats. We loved them but Mom thinks they are too big for us and too hard to break so we probably won’t get them any more. π At least we still have our food! Shadow and Zari
I think Fromm makes amazing food and treats, but this particular flavor was not my thing.
-OOOh! I am a cat and I like Salmon and sweet potatoes! I also like spinach! And definitely Chewy!!
I bet you do like that flavor being a cat. I think my cat bro Bert would eat these too.
Who knew Doodles could be so finicky – they don’t care for salmon or really any seafood #whatswrongwiththem The combo of salmon and sweet potatoes sounds yummy to me!
At our house, it is the reverse. Mom can’t stand anything with fish, sweet potatoes, or beans, but we love it. She is nice enough to make things with it for us.
looking and sounding yummy
Not my favorite, but Bailie will eat them.
I think brown dawgs would like these. Truth is they rarely turn down a treat.
I am picky, but Bailie eats these for me.
