According to my mom, hands free walking and running with dogs is the absolute best! We spend a lot of time walking and running. Getting the chance to test out the marsboy Hands Free leash set was perfect for us!
I opened the box to see what all was included in the marsboy Hands Free Leash Set. It comes with three pieces:
- Accessory Pouch
- Bungee Leash
- Waist Band
The bungee leash is best used on dogs from thirty to one hundred pounds, and has a few special features. One of the safety features are the locks on the clips. Once you have the leash clipped to the belt and the dog, simply slide the cylinder up which prevents the clip from coming off what it is clipped onto.
Another feature of the bungee leash is the handles. Each end of the leash has a built in handle in the event you need to hold the actual leash.
If you dog enjoys pulling while walking like Bailie does, the bungee leash is perfect! It has a unique blend of strength and flexibility and provides enough “give” to comfortably absorb the force of an excited playful dog all while maintaining enough tensile strength to keep the dog right by your side. The bungee has 16 inches of “spring”, extending to 56″.
Safety is also covered with the marsboy hands free leash. Three seams of bright reflective thread run the length of the leash and belt to provide safety and visibility. We are heading into the dark time of year where visibility is so very important!
The accessory pouch has two pockets and a place for your earbuds to poke out! My mom is thrilled because it is actually large enough to fit in her smartphone! Extra space in the second pocket is perfect for poop bags, keys, treats, or other small items. The pouch slides onto the belt and can sit anywhere on the belt you choose.
What size is the belt? It is a lightweight design with an easy adjusting connector to fit waists up to 42″. The belt also has a D ring that rotates around the belt to keep your dog where you want to have her. The clasps and connectors are durable and lightweight for maximum comfort that won’t slow you down. We all give this hands free walking and running leash our paw print of approval!

the mama is always a little uneasy with such leashes… she has no clue what she shall do with their hands while running with me, so she has her hands always on the hands free leashes :o) she is silly there are a lot of things she can do with free hands… like offering treats to me or scratching her head or waving at the people around us…
When it comes to running, this is the only option for my mom. She tried it and would never go back to holding the leash. For walking it really depends on what she is doing and she wouldn’t do it with two of us because we may kill her if a squirrel or wabbit passed by!
I love that idea! I hook Torreys leash to the waist belt on the backpack sometimes. I love the hands free idea.
It is ideal for my mom with running. For walking it really depends on the situation as we are so crazy for critters, she has to be careful.
I’ll certainly look into this, as Chris is a very good walker!
We like the bungee leash and the pouch for storing stuff. If he is a good walker it would be wonderful. My mom uses it more for running.
That is awesome, especially for a runner like you!
It is a must for running, walking, it just depends. We are better behaved when running.
Such a good idea. The leash and attachments look comfortable

The bungee leash and pouch are perfect!
That really is a good idea, just don’t run away with the Mom!
Bailie has tried to take her down before, but she can also be well behaved.
That has some really great features. I still like to do hands free for walking. Luke can be kind of “jerky” sometimes, so the bungee leash would be great. I also like the accessory pouch and the size of it looks perfect for what we need to bring on our walks.
Mom is using a combo of the other belt with this leash and pouch.
that does look great but our mom never weans jeans or things with a belt so she no loops to hook it on to and she would end up in the ground in no time as we would get her all tangled up in it π
You don’t need a belt or loops, it comes with the belt to attach it to. We are trained to walk left or right, so we don’t tangle much.
So fun. Mom wishes I was reliable enough to use this. She says I am only a good girl on my leather training leash. She is jealous when she sees people walking hands free with their doggies.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
We use this mainly just for running, or if we are somewhere with just one dog and Mom needs her hands because when we take our long walks together we are on long leashes so we can explore. Mom is not big on heal and keeping up close on our daily walks as it isn’t necessary.
Looks great! I’m afraid Rudy would take me down…. but this would work really well with Rosie. Great review!
It’s not for every dog, but it works well for us in certain situations.
Daddy may have to get this for he and Jakey!!

Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
Great idea…the boys take on the world hands free!
Seems like a terrific option for runners. Us walker types might be fixated on what to do with our hands other than cart bags of poop. If I’m not holding 17 things/leashes, etc. I feel naked. π
At first it is an odd feeling, but you adjust fast and never want to go back to holding the leash. We do use it mostly for running, but if Mom only has one dog and is going to the store or something it is really handy to have the hands free.
Pawsome Emma!
This may very well be the replacement we were looking for. We lost both our walking hands free leash system & hands free ski leashes in the fire last April.
Love all of the features especially the bungee leash.

That is so awful losing everything in a fire. We cannot image. My mom like the bungee leash and the pouch the best.
We love a bungee cord leash. Had one for years, it’s the best. Nice review Emma ….
The bungee is really nice. We have never had one before.
That’s a pretty neat gizmo.
Mom likes it for just one dog at at time.
I bet hubby could use that because he is not supposed to use his arms to pull anything (or be pulled by anything) just now. π
Hands free or off leash would be the only two options I guess.
