It’s me, Chef Emma, in the kitchen ready to make my new all in one Thanksgiving recipe for dogs! A couple years ago, I made some turkey jerky, but this year, I decided to take it up a notch or two!
My idea was to make a jerky, but one that has the entire meal in each piece! I thought about a Thanksgiving dinner, and selected a few key components – turkey, sweet potatoes, and cranberries. These items will be my main ingredients.
I combined the three basic ingredients in my mixing bowl and also added 2 tbsp of coconut oil, and 2 tbsp of parsley. A dog needs to have nice, fresh, kissable breath you know!
Next, I rolled out my meat mixture to about 1/4 inch thick. You can see the ingredients in the meat as I roll it out.
The original plan was to use my turkey cookie cutter to cut turkeys out of my meat, but it was an epic failure! For one, I couldn’t tell it was a turkey, it didn’t like cutting into cranberries, and later I found out it shrinks when baked. Therefore, I suggest just slicing your meat into one inch wide, two or three inch long strips.
Put all the yummy pieces onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet to get them ready for the oven. Since they shrink, no need to worry about having them too close together.
Just a few hours later, you will have a nice plate of my Thanksgiving recipe for dogs. It may not be the prettiest plate on the table, but I bet it is the tastiest!
You could keep in in the refrigerator for up to a week in a closed container, but I doubt it will last that long. The batch I made was gone in three days at my house. Click here to get a copy of my All In One Thanksgiving Recipe for Dogs.
Thank You! I am going to make the turkey jerky tomorrow for Schooner and Skipper! Sounds yummy for human too! Just might have a little bite.
You certainly could eat it too. Enjoy!
oh that looks tasty… how long takes a flight to you? if they are good for a week I have a chance to get some, right?
Non stop from Amsterdam, you can be here in about 10 hours!
You are AWESOME in the kitchen! Just love your chef’s hat. We will have to try this recipe!! Thanks for sharing!!
I thought it would be a nice way to spice up ordinary jerky.
Chef Emma does it again! I am licking the monitor screen…they look so darn good. Bone appetit. XOXO, Sparkle
If you make them, be careful. One minute you have a pan of them and before you know it they are already gone!
Oh my, that seriously looks good enough to eat!
It’s super yummy and I think kitties could eat it too.
We’ll be in NY for Thanksgiving so Chris will be with his breeder, but when we get back I’ll make these for him!
Will you be in the Macy’s Parade??? π I know they are tasty treats no matter when you have a chance to make them.
Happy to see you back in the kitchen again Emma. I’m sure Bailey and Madison are thrilled too!
There has been so much going on, I’ve had to set aside my culinary skills for a bit, but I have to get down to serious howliday cooking and baking!
Oh my dawg! You need your own cooking show
Lily & Edward
My phone is on and ready when Hollywood calls.
OMD! I am the luckiest hound around to have such a beautiful and talented girlfriend. I am sooooooo thankful for you. Mom must make these for me so we can both have some. β₯
I will make another batch since they just seem to magically disappear in a heartbeat around here! Enjoy, and I would bake you some but they would be gone before you could get her to try them!
Oh boy that looks and sounds great
Good, healthy, and super easy.

It is super yummy. You should try making some for your pack.
Sounds yummy, Emma! How much of each ingredient did you use? It might be something the girls could eat now, if I’m careful about not giving them too much. I could always freeze the leftovers individually or in twin packs.
You can click on the link at the end of the post for the recipe. You can also adjust the amounts as needed.
You are so talented. It sounds yummy.
The only problem is they didn’t last long. We ate them up pretty fast because they were so good.
Such a fun idea! Plus – the hat!!!
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Fun and tasty idea π
Such a simple and delicious recipe! Definitely going to try this year for the pups! They typically get table scraps every year, but now they’ll have their very own entree.
Emma is very cute! And I am impressed with the training it took to teach her to pose so well! Kudos!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! Cheers!
I’ve always loved to model. Mom just tells me what to do and I do it. Enjoy the treats, they are tasty and healthy.
Those look yummy want to come to my house? Love Dolly
Your mom should make some for you.
Cool, Sam and Elsa are now salivating for me to make them some. Sounds almost as tasty as the plain jerky!
Just a bit better with even more flavor!
That looks super yummy!
These look and sound great. I won’t have time to make them before Thanksgiving but we will definitely try them soon!
Healthy and yummy!
