One of the best things about Forever Home, besides the taste is that when you buy a can, Merrick will donate a meal to homeless pets! Everyone wins in this food deal! Madison has no idea about pets in need, but she does feel that every pet deserves a good meal and fully supports Merrick’s generosity!
Waiting for dinner is always a tough job. The Merrick Forever Home Holiday Recipe is grain free, and made with beef, chicken, apples, peas, and Yukon Gold potatoes. Doesn’t it sound delicious?
Finally, the one with thumbs got around to opening up a can for Bailie to sample, but first, she was just left to sniff it. She could see the chunks of goodness on the plate too! Thank dog, she did not drool!
Once tasting began, Bailie’s taste buds were tickled with flavor. She gobbled down her portion like a turkey…gobble, gobble!
Madison wasted no time eating her portion either. In case you are wondering, Madison has a small head still, so all our fun hats just fall off. One day she too will wear festive head gear.
In fact, Madison loves Forever Home Holiday Recipe so much, she decided to just eat the food right out of the can like a common dog!

A girl has to prepare ahead of time. Shopping and planning, you know…all the important stuff to make sure the meal is just right.

Madison seems to be catching on to posing, wearing hats, and the boxes arriving at the door. She is a great addition for so many reasons.

PeeEss..Mama says the Target Baby Dept sometimes has some fun hats that might fit Madison 😉 Sometimes she gets Arty hats there.
Mom buys a lot of our hats and sunglasses at Target in the baby dept. It is great, but Madison like Bailie and me, has a super tiny more cat sized head still. Once she grows into her jumbo paws, her head will follow along. She still gets practice wearing different hats we have for dolls or for Bert.
