Variety is the spice of life for this hound which is one huge reason why I love Chewy.com! Did you know they have over 500 brands in stock! Think of how many products that makes! I figure if Chewy.com doesn’t have it, I don’t need it!
Whenever a Chewy.com box arrives at my door, I always get my smile on! I know Chewy.com only has great stuff, and it is usually something for me! Unfortunately, the other day, the box was for my mom! Can you believe it? Thank you to Chewy.com, but really, I prefer all packages be filled with stuff for me. At least I am able to use the hat and scarf myself! They look good on me, don’t you think?
This month for my #ChewyInfluencer review I decided to go all out wild and I chose Acana Pork and Squash treats! Talk about variety being the spice of life! I’ve never had pork and squash together as a treat, ever! I was so excited to see if these would tickle my taste buds or not!
My nose going into overdrive when we opened the package was a sign of good taste to come! The aroma wafting out of the package was almost too much for me to remain still for a photo!
I let of few of the nuggets escape and get some fresh air on the deck. They look like they are just the right size for a small bite type treat!
Having not heard of Acana before I did a bit of digging to find out what they are all about and found this: “ACANA is a new class of food focused on using fresh meats that pets are naturally evolved to eat, while excluding inappropriate ingredients (like high-glycemic grains and vegetable proteins). Each product line is formulated to Biologically Appropriateโข standards and guaranteed to meet the nutritional needs of today’s dogs and cats.” Note, I did NOT tell cat bro Bert they are also for cats!
I have to tell you, I just love these treats! My only complaint is the small package. It seems like they will be gone far too soon. Not only are they yummy, they are good for us dogs! Take a peak at a few facts about them:
- Fresh, Yorkshire pork from local Kentucky farms is the single animal protein, paired with locally grown butternut squash
- Limited ingredients for sensitive pups to easily digest
- Gently freeze-dried to retain vital nutrients and preserve natural flavors
- Butternut squash provides tons of soluble fiber, and sarsaparilla root supports healthy digestion for a nutritious treat that’s easy for the most sensitive pet to digest
- Formula-matched to ACANA Singles dry foods
I’d be willing to bet a wabbit, your dog will also get a smirk on if you serve up some Acana Pork and Squash Treats! Variety is the spice of life and this is one darn good variety!

You are one styling girl, Emma. I miss you when you are not featured in your posts. The treats look yummy too. XOXO Sparkle
Well, it is nice to know I am missed ๐ It is still my blog, but now that I am ten and I have sisters to help out, sometimes I like to take a day off here and there. I won’t disappear, no worries there. The crazies couldn’t handle it all on their own!
I just switched to Acana
Edward (& Lily)
It’s really good stuff!
I have heard good things about this brand, though we haven’t tried it ourselves. Those treats look like they’d be perfect for training.
What was Chewy thinking sending stuff to your Mom? Good job snagging the hat and scarf for yourself!
I think Chewy forgot who the boss is around here, LOL!
What a wonderful looking hat/scarf ensemble Emma, it looks mah-velous…as do those treats!!
Smileys!

I never had squash before, although I have been squashed by Bailie a few times. These are super yummy!
I have never heard of Acana either, but it sounds wonderful! Ruby likes variety, too! And I have to say, no dog wears a hat as well as you. No matter the style of hat, you always look fabulous!
Thank you. Being born in the UK, I think it gave me the “hat gene”. I love to wear hats!
Those look like super yummy treats.
They are, and I love the flavor combination.
Mmm, pork and squash! Yum! Squash is one of the few veggies Rita likes so we’ll hvae to check those out!
I’m not a veggie fan, so it was a gamble, but I love these.
We’ve got some too! Just saving it for Harley’s birthday celebration!
Oh, he will love that! They are super yummy!
