It’s time for my sisters and I to write our letters to Santa for this year. Madison is still learning about Christmas and Santa so Bailie is helping her out. If everything goes well, Madison will get to meet Santa this weekend.
Bailie and Madison are the younger generation and want to do their “shopping for ideas” online, so I elected to hang out with Bunny and all my catalogs. I’m more of an old school dog who likes to really get her paws on the pages if you know what I mean.
When it comes right down to it, I don’t need much. I’m a very fortunate dog who has a wonderful home with almost everything I could need or want, so my list is pretty short. I know I have been nice, and I have no worries about what list I will be on. Mom says I need to watch it, but I don’t think she knows what she is talking about.
The crazies, Bailie and Madison, spent a long time online deciding what to put on their lists. Madison was so excited about all the products, she asked Bailie if she could simply tell Santa she would like one of every dog item online. Bailie had to explain to her that was not possible.
When Bailie started looking at pretty collars and fancy things, Madison got pretty bored and started to chew on her penguin. They are both wearing their naughty hats. Bailie is definitely naughty these days, but Madison is actually on the nice list. Bailie is trying to convince Madison that being naughty is cool and since Madison thinks Bailie is cool, she is going with whatever Bailie tells her.
The two of them finally made some decisions and got to work under the tree on their letter. Because Madison can’t write yet, Bailie decided they could share a letter. They do everything together anyway, so why not combine their letters to Santa?
Their letter is barely legible, but they didn’t seem to care. Bailie has serious attitude these days! At least she remembered to say thank you at the end of their letter. We shall see in a couple weeks who has coal in their stocking and who has some nice gifts! Which list do you think we will end up on?
I hope santa will bring real rabbits to you… but please don’t forget to make a video of this event…that’s probably something we will never furget ;o)))
If Santa does bring us some wabbits, I can almost guarantee out living room will be demolished!
Oh wow, we just loved this post, TOTALLY AMAZING! MOL Mew really brought a smile to our day, and before we go we’d like to say many thinks fur stopping by our blog the other and leaving a comment, we LOVE making new furriends!
Sweetest purrs
Basil & Co xox
P.S. We really hope Santa Paws delivers!
P.P.S. I love wabbits too… nom nom nom! MOL
Thank you for visiting! We hope we get real wabbits too, but my mom says she doesn’t think it will happen. Blog hops are for making friends and we always try to visit some new friends when we join a hop. Happy Howlidays!
Well done Emma! I particularly like asking Santa to take your sisters! That made mom and me laugh out loud this morning. Then Lilly asked what we were laughing about so we had to pretend it was something else!! Have a great day. your doodle friend Dash (also a permanent resident on the Nice List)
The sisters of mine are really out of hand these days and I like to have calm around my house. We will see if they are here when I wake up on Christmas morning.
I think the nicest thing on the list was asking Santa to send something nice to Katie in heaven. Brought tears to my eyes.
I’m so used to tears in Mom’s eyes since Katie left, it seems normal. We miss her a lot, and everything still reminds us of her. Bailie wasn’t with her as long and since Katie was ill most of that time, they never bonded like Mom and I did with her.
lOg my, someones would sure have fun with real rabbits!
Can you imagine waking up to wabbits in the house. How awesome would that be!
I am not sure what a real wabbit is, but it sounds like fun! Emma, you are the nice girl. I am nice most of the time. I could get into lots of trouble with Bailie and Madison. YIKES! Have a wonderful weekend! We did not get your email yet today, and were glad we found your blog on Facebook. XOXO, Sparkle
Hmmm…now that you mention it, I didn’t get the email either. Technology! I will have to look into it. Thank you for letting me know. Luckily, I always post on Facebook too.
Just me or does Emma look exactly like a dog version of Mrs. Claus?
Will I just read your comment and you are sooooooooooooooooooo right!! BOL BOL BOL!!
You might be onto something there. I need to add some pounds, though.
These were SERIOUSLY adorable!!!!!! I think everyone is going to end up on the “nice” list, as they should!
Thank you. Bailie is really hanging on by a thread right now. She has entered a whole new dimension of naughtiness and seems to really be proud of it. We will see if Santa can overlook all her escapades.
These will be two of Santa’s favorite letters this year! Emma, I hope you don’t get everything on your list, you would miss Bailie and Madison if Santa took them with him. I know the holidays will be sad without Katie this year, but that’s why Bailie and Madison are so naughty, they are just trying to distract you.
I like my peace and quiet, but those two sisters are always wild and loud. They do get on my nerves. I guess I might miss them if they were gone, but they sure can get on a girl’s nerves!
I’m sure all three of you will be on the nice list! Bailie is so good with her new baby sister that I’m sure Santa will forgive the extra naughtiness π
I think she uses it as an excuse to let her immature side back out. She sure has fun, though.
Emma, your letter is so, so sweet. Your sisters….well, I think Bailie’s little sign says it all. We hope she isn’t too much of a bad influence on Madison!
We think you all will end up on the “nice” list. Santa loves dogs just as much as the rest of us, so all will be forgiven. β₯
Bailie says it doesn’t matter because she has everything she needs anyway. She thinks naughty is cool and Madison is learning lots of naughtiness from her, but neither of them mean any harm with their antics.
Santa seems to understand puppies and teenagers can be a little naughty. Of course, you and I should get the most stuff because we are soooooooo good. β₯ XXOO Bentley
Exactly. Madison is really good, it is just Bailie who likes to act out all the time, but she always has.
Real rabbits??!! Yikes! I wonder what those girls will do with real rabbits. I’m actually afraid to think about it…. Good luck with Santa. Maybe switch out the Naughty hats for Nice hats. It’ll improve your odds.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
I don’t think the real wabbits will be around for long if they show up…if you know what I mean. It’s kind of a dangerous place to be a wabbit in a house full of hounds!
Chews, squeaky toys and wabbits! That’s quite a list.
They are young and think they can ask for the world!
Ballie, mommy may think you’re naughty but you’ve been very good to Madison taking her under your wing and teaching her. Santa knows that.
Bailie has a super good heart, but her behavior is just off the wall. We love her anyway, and she is entertaining.
I can relate to you wanting Santa to take Baillie and Madison back to the North Pole…Sometimes I really get annoyed at having to share my Mama with my brothers!!
It is not always easy in a multi pet family. Mom does try to make special time for her and me which I really love.
Hope Santa gives you everything you want!
I think we will all do alright this year. Even naughty Bailie redeems her sins by helping out all the time with Madison.
Aw, all three of you are precious; naughty, nice, or some combination. I love you all!
Thank you! We definitely have a combination but it works!
Cute letters! I hope you get lots and lots!
We sure hope so too, but Bailie is questionable. She was at the scene of another bed explosion just this morning…not nice.
Hey, that mailbox looks familiar!! And, of course, Emma, your letter is so mature, kind and responsible. Thinking of your sister at the Bridge and everything!
On the other paw …
uh, Madison, did Bailie read that letter to you before she mailed it? Just meowin’ cuz yanno, you can’t read and all…. You wanna make sure the bed explosions aren’t being blamed on YOU& stuffs! MOL!
Bailie is on some real thin ice this year. There was another bed explosion yesterday as a matter of fact. Her saving grace may be the care she is giving little Madison. We shall see.
