Mom took little four month old Madison Christmas shopping and to meet Santa on the weekend. We were all curious to see how it would go. I had no problem with Santa, neither did Katie, but Bailie tried to rip his beard off! I guess that was a sign of things to come with her personality.
They were a bit too early to see Santa, so Madison had time to sniff out the entire store while they waited. Little Madison has quite the sniffer! I think she found every treat people had dropped under the shelves!
Mom nearly had heart failure when Madison took a liking to the stuffed snakes. Snakes are never allowed, no matter what kind they are!
In the Christmas section, Madison wanted to buy me an ugly Christmas sweater. She told Mom I’m old and crabby and would probably like such a sweater. Kids these days have no respect!
Bailie is Madison’s best friend and sister. Naturally, she knows how Bailie has a lot of exploding bed experiences and she thought it might be a good idea to get her a new bed. At least she has good taste in dog beds.
Both Madison and Bailie like stuffed Kongs and bones. I prefer not to work so hard for my snacks, so they are not my thing. She managed to find a sale deal on Kongs and was quite interested in getting more Kongs.
The stuffed bones were quite a hit too. It took Madison a while to figure out she couldn’t lick them because they were wrapped up.
Finally it was time for the big moment – time to meet Santa. Madison was not scared at all, and did really well sitting on his lap. He was a super nice Santa. When Bailie went three years ago, he wasn’t real friendly. Little Madison put in her order for everything she wants for Christmas, and then she and Mom headed for home!
that’s a beautiful photo with santa…. and I agree with your mama… better we leave that green spaghetti snakes in the store… :o)
They will never be allowed in our house!
Madison is a good little shopper!! And she looks adorable on Santa’s lap. Have a good day your doodle friend Dash
She had a lot of fun, and her nose was worn out when she got home!
Great picture! PS I’ve been stocking up with some more fun dog toys because at Christmas toys they have all the good stuff at Petsmart!
We have so many toys, we don’t even play with half of them. We do better with more chew stuff I think but Madison thinks she needs more toys
In Bailie’s defense – that beard DOES look just like the stuffing in every stuffie, so…. Madison is looking very sweet in the Santa-grip.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Now that we know the true Bailie, it is no surprise she tried to shred Santa when she was a puppy! Madison may just turn our to be better behaved. Bailie likes to live on the edge, but she sure enjoys it too!
She is the “Nosey” shopper. Hee hee.
Most definitely!
Madison wants it ALL! A girl after my own heart. π Lovely Santa pic. XOXO, Sparkle
Not that she is greedy or anything! She is a happily spoiled little girl.
Oh man, Madison already knows how to pose for the camera! A perfect model.
She is a smart little one and catches on fast to things like striking a pose.
We love your photo with Santa sweet Madison!
Thank you!
Oh boy! Hope you told Santa what you wanted
Lily & Edward
We sent him our letters, so we didn’t have to go visit him.
Wow, what a fun Christmas shopping day for Madison! It looks like she and Santa really liked each other, so she’s bound to get everything she asked for now. π
Everywhere she goes everyone wants to snuggle with her. She is a true people lover at her young age even.
What a cute photo with Santa! And what a lot of good shopping she did. You guys must be done with your holiday shopping after that visit! (Too funny about Bailie and Santa’s beard!)
We are ready for Christmas now. Shopping is done, cold air and snow have arrived.
that is ADORABLE!! Madison looks perfectly happy with Santa!
She liked him a lot and he thought she was pretty nice too.
It looks as if Madison had a wonderful time at the pet store and wait…old & crabby?!?! WTD?? Ho Ho Ho!
Madison had a great time at the store! My sisters say I am old and crabby because I don’t play with them and I growl at them a lot. I prefer to be a more mature dog without all that nonsense.
BAILEY needs her OWN… FLEASA Card fur her shopping pleasure(s). OMD she surely did have a good time.
Oh no! We would go bankrupt!
How fun! Fits Chris

Madison had a real fun time.
Looks like Madison picked out some good stuff!
She had a blast but couldn’t make decisions because there was too much stuff.
Looks like Madison has quite the wish list! I hope Santa brings some of that to you (but I hope you get something nicer than an ugly sweater!).
I don’t think that sweater will land at my house! Kids these days have odd ideas!
What a totally fun day Madison had!!
Smileys!

She had so much fun, she was worn out.
Oh Madison what a fun day!!!
She had a lot of fun and a good nap when she got home.
Madison has a super keen nose for shopping. What a fun way to socialize your adorable fur-ball.
Thank you. She is a very busy pup, always going places and experiencing new things.
Nice job Madison. That is a very nice photo. I am glad it was a nice Santa. Too bad about the unfriendly Santa.
That last one for Bailie was no fun.
Gosh what a brave girl, I went one time to meet Santa, never again, he scares me. Love Dolly
Lots of the dogs were scared, but not Madison. She is pretty brave.
I hope you all get everything you ask for! Just be careful what “everything” is. Lol. ?
The little ones still have so much to learn.
