Is there a canine tooth fairy? Puppies start losing baby teeth around sixteen weeks of age. Madison is fully into the teething and losing teeth phase right now which is why she wants to know about the canine tooth fairy.
Exhibit A – found on the floor the other day.
Tooth stored securely in the Lucky Tooth chest from Mom when she was a little girl. This silly little chest is like forty years old!
Chest is put under Madison’s pillow at bedtime.
Madison gets her beauty sleep.
In the morning, the chest if found next to Madison – empty.
The Canine Tooth Fairy does exist! She brought a bag of lamb ears for Madison! Now she is bummed she doesn’t remember where all the other teeth are she has lost!
Today, Iβm joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop sponsored by BlogPaws! Donβt forget to stop by and visit some new blogs for fun!
of course, that tooth fairy exists! …and you will not believe what she bought for me… I mean apart from a teeth box with an elk on the top :o)
That sounds pretty cool!
Haha this is awesome! Usually teething means you lose stuff (teeth, furniture, etc) but this plan seems much better.
We have so many bones and antlers lying around, the other stuff has been spared!
She’s growing up she lost her canine tooth. What a nice tooth fairy.
She seems to have the majority of her big girl teeth already. Growing up too fast!
Lilttle Madison is growing up! Don’t know if I am happy or sad.
We are happy she is doing so well, but sad her puppyhood is disappearing fast!
There is definitely a puppy tooth fairy! Madison struck gold! I hope she shares. π XOXO, Sparkle
We all have to share pretty much everything around here, and if she thinks about not sharing, we know she often forgets to guard her stuff, so we can get it!
How adorable! I never found any of Elbe’s baby teeth. He probably ate them like he does everything else.
It’s not often we find teeth lying around, but once in a while we do.
Absolutely wonderful!
Thank you!
Yes yes put it under your pillow you’ll see
Lily & Edward
It’s now been proven!
That’s the best kind of puppy tooth fairy.
Wow Madison! You lucky dog! We didn’t put our teeth under anything… mom doesn’t even have a tooth chest (How did she keep track of that over the years? our mom wants to know!?! Mom can’t keep track of her keys!). Madison really is a cute puppy. We hope she shared her treats with you Emma. your doodle friend Dash
Mom has saved some of her stuff from ages ago. She buries it is stuff called boxes. If one does find a puppy tooth, one has to celebrate it!
Of course there is a tooth fairy for puppies! We have never been able to catch her but our teeth always disappeared too. I think someone owes us more treats! β₯ Bentley
I think most puppies never find their teeth, so there is no need for the fairy, but if you do, she is there!
Aww, Maddison, of course there is a canine tooth fairy, and I’m glad she took such good care of you. A bag of lamb ears is better than a dollar any day. Now you’ll have to go hunting for the rest of your teeth π
Careful, she may have to go through all the poop bags in the garage since she most likely swallowed them! She is happy with finding just one I think.
Nice tooth fairy!

I bet the Feline Tooth Fairy brings nip nanners!
Meow I think my dog lost her tooth when we were playing tug of war with a stick I could not find it but I hope the pup tooth fairy will still come my paws are still in pain from tug of war OOF bye meow
Oh my I LOVED this! Madison’s expression is classic!!
Glad you like it. Madison is thrilled about the tooth fairy!
Yes! That is a big score for a tooth. Love it.
I think the tooth fairy knew she lost a lot of teeth, so the pay is most likely for all of them.
Lamb ears? What a score!
Pretty nice tooth fairy!
IS it strange that I kept one of Walter’s baby teeth in a baby album ;)? It was so sweet that I held onto it as the other dogs we didn’t have as puppies… LOVE THIS.
Mom has some of her own baby teeth and she has this one from Madison. Most of the teeth are swallowed or fall out who knows where, so they are rare finds. Not strange to keep one at all!
Time to put that good sniffer to work, Madison, and find some more! We bet your sisters would help if you shared some of those lamb ears! π
We think she probably swallowed them, or maybe Mom vacuumed them up?
Aww so sweet! Madison is such a cutie π
Thank you. She is pretty adorable and sweet too!
Lol! That’s so cute! Yay for the toothfairy!
It is good to know for future puppies!
Tooth fairy treats!! So fun! Find those missing teeth, B. Don’t waste them….
Love and licks,
Cupcake
We are pretty sure she swallowed most of them, but one never knows. There may be more around the house.
We love that little chest – it’s perfect!
My mom has always saved it because it meant a lot to her as a child.
That’s soooo pawesome! Sadly, we know all too well that the feline tooth fairy exists – because of extractions. We much prefer Madison’s tooth fairy!!
That is sad. None of us have had any extracted, thankfully. It’s good to know she comes for that reason too, though, in case we ever have it happen.
OF COURSE the Teefs Fairy Exists… WOW you really SCORED, Madison. We only got One Milkbone per toof.
I think the tooth fairy went big because Madison only had this one tooth and we have no clue where the others are.
That is SO cute! I’ll have to ask Rita if the tooth fairy visited her at the rescue… she had already lost all those puppy teeth by the time we got her. π Man, all I got as a kid was a quarter!
My mom said she got a quarter too. I don’t think I ever got a thing because Mom never found any of my teeth.
That is such a nice thing to wake up to pretty Madison and I know you will enjoy those!
She tested one out last night with her new teeth and enjoyed it.
That’s an adorable tale, so sweet. Please do not let Harley & Jaxson know because the canine tooth fairy NEVER came to Doodleville. #baddoodlemom
No need to worry the boys. Most dogs seem to swallow their teeth, so there are none to put under the pillow for the tooth fairy.
Wowsers Madison, the Tooth Fairy really does exist!!!
Smileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
She sure got lucky losing that canine and keeping it for the fairy!
Very nice tooth fairy! And an adorable tooth fairy chest. How cool is it that your mum kept it all these years. I wish I’d have saved our, it was adorably cute.
Mom didn’t keep everything she would like to have kept, but some things like the tooth chest are fun.
So sweet Madison! <3 I love the little tiny box for your tooth! π I bet dog tooth fairy will give you yummy treats! π Congratulations on growing up to be a big girl! <3
Mom says the tooth chest is a must have! Little Madison is growing up way too fast!
Aw this post is just adorable! For some reason that Lucky Tooth chest looks so familiar even though I don’t remember ever having one. Madison is such a good girl for not eating the chest too, haha! Haley ate all of her baby teeth, so I never found any.
Madison never tried to eat the chest, luckily! Mom had another chest that was green, but she can only find the blue one.
How lucky you are, sweet Madison! That looks like quite a haul for just one little tooth. Good thing you can’t find the others, or you’d be sitting on a gigantic pile of goodies!
Jean from Welcome to the Menagerie
LOL! I think she got such a big bag to cover all the lost teeth that were not recovered!
We have at least 1 tooth from most of our dogs, but we didn’t know about the canine tooth fairy. I think Aspen kept all his. What a great surprise Madison enjoy your treats:)
They are so hard to find as most of us swallow them. Mom said that when Katie lost hers it was funny as they had a laminate floor and she would hear them fall out and land on the floor!
Awww, too cute!! I wish I still had at least one each of my dogs’ baby teeth.
Usually, Mom never finds any, but we scored with this one!
