My sisters and I love good dog chews, especially at night before bed when we are hanging out and relaxing with Mom. Dog chews are a good way to keep us dogs busy, wear us out a bit, and they help keep our chompers in good shape!
My GBGV Life received the Redbarn® chew products in this post to review. My GBGV Life receives no additional benefits for barking about Redbarn products or the company. The opinions in this review are the honest opinion of My GBGV Life. Redbarn is not responsible for the contents of this post.
I received a box full of Redbarn chews to review! Seriously, there were so many chews, I could not even choose! Luckily I have my sisters to assist me with this review because there are way too many chews for one dog! I was wondering how this company came about and how they manage to have so many wonderful, safe chews for dogs!
After reading up on Redbarn, I learned it was started back in the 1990’s by two friends, Jeff Baikie and Howard Bloxam, who met as kids at a hockey tournament in Canada. They stayed in touch and eventually started Redbarn. After a few years of working in Canada and the USA, in 1998, they moved their business to California. Redbarn has been growing by leaps and bounds ever since. Today they have over 200 products! The Redbarn mission is: to produce healthy, wholesome and innovative pet foods and treats that they can be proud to call their own.
Being scent hound, I could smell the goodness in the chews before I even opened the packages! Redbarn chews are safe and consistent products. The Redbarn manufacturing plants are a reflection of the company, its standards, and values. Redbarn has quality assurance programs and they continue to make large investments in equipment, testing protocols, and staffing to ensure that strict quality standards are met.
Look how happy I am to try out the 7″ Bully Braids! These are ideal for us since we are three, and there are three in the package. The Bully Braids are made from free range cattle with no hormones, steroids, or antibiotics. We all love how long they lasted!
Of course, I couldn’t wait for my sisters to come inside. I went right ahead and sampled one on my own, yum! Here’s a fun fact for you! Redbarn manufactures over 1 million inches of Bully Sticks every year. If you lay them end to end, that’s over 15 miles!
Bailie was happy to sample the Chew-A-Bulls. We received several of them in medium and large sizes. These chews are made from ground bully sticks with some added chicken cartilage. Very tasty!
Vanilla is something I happen to love and when I found out the Bully Slices were vanilla flavored, I went a bit nuts! These are grain and gluten free natural cowhide that is coated with a secret bully gravy, and is then slow-roasted. The vanilla comes wafting out of the bag and they are to drool for!
My sisters decided to bust open the Bully Nuggets. These are great treats to munch on during the day when we are in the mood for a tasty snack! These delightful nuggets are beef lung nuggets coated in a bully gravy! They are low in fat, high in protein and make the perfect training treat!
We also received some Bully Barbells, Barky Bark, Chew-A-Bulls-Rings, and Roofle. There was simply too much to include all the photos. I’m sure you are wondering which product is our favorite? Well, it is tough to decide as we love everything in the box we received, but after much deliberation, the Bully Nuggets are the winner! We absolutely love them and we can have one here and there during the day and really stretch out the pure enjoyment! Are you Redbarn fans? If not, you really should give some of their products a try!

I’ve ordered Red Barn bully sticks from Chewy before, Torrey loves them!
We agree, they are good.
I love to chew! Those look iike they are to die for. Yummy for my tummy!!!! XOXO, Sparkle
There was only one issue with the Bully Nuggets, the bag was empty was too fast!
The vanilla bully slices sound interesting. Gretel and Chester like all things food but I bet they would love giving them a try.
If they like vanilla, they would be perfect. They have other flavors too, but I love vanilla.
Those treats look mighty good

We couldn’t find any we didn’t like!
Wow, what a great collection of goodies you got! We don’t do too many long lasting chews around here, since they have to be separated for them. But the nuggets sound like they would be great for training, and we always need training treats!
No one has to be separate for nuggets. We have good long lasting chews every night. I prefer to be alone in my room with mine, but my sisters munch together.
Allison from Redbarn here! We recommend the Bully Nuggets as a high-reward training treat. They’re made from beef lung and are super rich. Perfect for the end of a successful training session 🙂
so much goodness from a great company.
It was really fun to learn how Redbarn came about. We are impressed.
So many chews, so little time… I’m sure you guys will manage though!
We are chomping our way through the stash…some dogs have tough lives you know.
Oh yummilicious! My pups would love probably any of these! We are huge fans of bully sticks and other meaty chews. Thanks for a great review! Paws cross we win! 😉
Good luck to you. The Bully Nuggets are amazing!
i have been a long time user of Red Barn, i started using the raw foods abt 15 yrs ago. you could not find them in the stores then, my dog breeder uses their products. my girls love their treats. i like the nuggets because they are smaller than the bully sticks and easier for smaller dogs.
They are perfect for now and then small snacks!
We loved all of our Red Barn treats that we’ve tried so far. Mom is being savey-savey and not doling them out on demand. Y’all enjoy!
We’ve tried demanding without success, but we are enjoying them even when they are rationed!
Dang if y’all didn’t hit the chewy jackpot!
We sure did!
WOW, that is a very nummy selection…but you were right to use the word “almost” ’cause there is no such thing as too many dog chews!
Smileys!

Mom seems to think we have plenty, but we disagree.
Another NEW company. OMD we don’t KNOW how you could pawsibly Chews just ONE type.
It’s tough, but we can have Bully Nuggets anytime and more than one in a day, so we picked them.
WOWZERZ!!!!!!!! Oh thoze look so yummy! An’u gotz so many – how on earth did u ever chooze your chewz? Oh lookie – I made a funny – he he
Lady Shasta
We chose them because we can have them a couple times a day and they are so yummy!
It certainly looks like you and your sisters have a lot of tasting to do. I saw one treat in your pile which is the ONLY treat Mica will eat. It is the one called Chew A Bulls. Lots of fun tasting and diving away:)
The Chew A Bulls are good too, but they don’t last as long as the other Bully products.
Allison from Redbarn here! The Chew-A-Bulls are made for more passive chewers, so they don’t last as long as a traditional bully stick. That being said, they have some superfood functional ingredients like Salmon Oil and Cranberries to support joint and skin health. It really depends on what you want to feed your dog. Happy chewsing 😉
OMDoodle – these are the Boys favorites – what a stash you’ve got there.
We did get a good load of goodies and we are slowly working our way through.
Those look good I’ve never heard of that brand before! And there’s no such thing as too many chews! Love Dolly
They are super tasty and there is no such thing as too many treats!
Those look very yummy.
We are really enjoying their treats and chews.
Looks like a nice assortment..Thanks for sharing! It’s good to find a food that we can actually feed dogs.
