We have been big fans of Full Moon™ treats for several years now. They are always made in the USA, are human grade, and super tasty! When we were asked to try out their new training treats, we jumped at the chance! The Training Treats come in two varieties, Duck, and Chicken.
Both varieties have a few things in common:
- Only about 2.5 calories per piece
- Pieces are about 1/2 inch in diameter
- Soft and chewy with a burst of flavor
- No artificial flavors or preservatives
- Human grade ingredients, but please don’t steal from your dog
- Made in the USA
The Chicken Training Treats are made with cage free organic chicken! One of the best things besides being low calorie is that there are around 175 treats in a package – that is not a typo! Trust me, as tasty as they are, you will be so happy there are so many in the bag!
Bailie found Duck Training Treats to be her favorite. She couldn’t resist eating them right out of the bag! There are some 145 pieces in each bag of farm raised, cage free duck!
What kind of training do we do with these treats? We use them for all our training, and they have proven to give things like hot dog pieces a real run for their money! Mom likes to dremel my nails, but I am not a fan. Put the Full Moon Training Treats on the table, and I have no problem letting her do my nails! As I said, irresistible training treats!
Bailie took the chicken treats to agility class one night. This short video show her working on the A-Frame. Putting these at the end slow her down so she is sure to have her paws on the yellow. She could wear a sign saying “I stop for Full Moon Training Treats!”
Bailie also did some resistance, waiting work by letting Mom stack these treats on her nose. It was tough for her to resist as they smell so good! Do you see the drool drops to the side of her nose?
If you are interested in getting irresistible training treats for your dog, they are available at Walmart right now! We are going to stock up and take them with us to our nose work classes and Madison will take some to obedience class too. Many treats are tasty, but we are all amazed at how good the Full Moon Training Treats are!
