Last week, Madison and I entered into our own Poof Challenge, Pea vs. Bean. Bailie was the referee and supervised the competition to make sure it was fair and square. Today I will be announcing the winner and offering a giveaway!
My GBGV Life received the Poof Pea and Bean Activity Trackers in this post to review. My GBGV Life receives no additional benefits for barking about Poof products or the company. The opinions in this review are the honest opinion of My GBGV Life. Poof is not responsible for the contents of this post.
In order to get any information from our Poofs, we had to download the free app for Android and IPhone. It was super easy to find and works really well.
Bailie, our referee, asked me and Madison to remove our Poof Activity Trackers so she could upload the information we had stored over the time of our competition. The Poof has to be within 30 ft of the phone to be recognized, but it is best to put it right next to your phone when uploading. You should also have only one device at a time in the vicinity of your phone. The photo is just for show.
Bailie got all the results loaded into the app. Madison and I were sitting patiently waiting to hear who would be the winner. It’s really not cut and dry, as Madison may be young and wild, but she can’t walk as far as I can. Sometimes slow and steady wins the race. Being ten years apart in age, we burn our calories differently, and use our energy differently.
We have a winner! Madison won our Poof Challenge, the Bean won! She doesn’t look real thrilled, but I don’t think she really understands it all.
As we figured, the challenge was really close! Madison had a seven day average score of 68 with a placement as ninth highest dog among dogs similar to her. By the way, if you don’t like the dangling device on your pet’s collar, the tracker comes with a holder to attach the device right to the collar, so no dangling. We like dangling, so we used that option!
My score was an average of 64, not bad for ten years old! I placed as second highest dog with the other dogs similar to me! I’m pretty proud of myself for coming so close to catching that sassy little sister of mine! We tested our trackers for durability, taking them in the water, in the dirt, extreme heat, and wild play. Nothing damaged our Poofs.
The app also shows a summary of your highlight since you started using the tracker and all your personal details. It is possible to upload your dog’s photo, but Mom liked the silly white hound profile, so we didn’t upload a photo.
We were amazed at the food list the app has to offer. Our food was on the list, and many others we checked were too. This is a shot of Madison’s puppy chow along with feeding directions customized for her. It is right on as that is about what she gets to eat every day!
Other features of the app include activity level in a graph as well as the intensity. It lists your score for each day, and also a list of the calories you burned. the shots above are from my Pea tracker.
Madison’s Bean tracker does the same thing as my Pea. Because we take our collars off at night and when Mom isn’t home, we didn’t follow our rest scores as they wouldn’t be real accurate. You can also post different stats right from the app to your social media accounts if you want which is fun!
One of the awesome things about Poof Activity Trackers is they donate 100% yes, 100% of their profits to GreaterGood.org, an organization dedicated to helping and protecting pets! Poof is having a 20% off sale this month on their trackers! You could have your own Poof Challenge, maybe dog vs. cat! Products have free shipping and a 30 day money back guarantee! We recommend Poof to track your dog (or cat), and for fun!
**The two Poofs we are giving away are brand new, but just like the ones we have been using. For more specifics on each one, you can check our post from last week. Enter to win through the giveaway widget below.**

Hoorah for the winner. Fun post and cool gaget.
Thank you. They are pretty cool!
You are going to have some sniffer activity
Lily & Edward
We are always in sniff mode around here!
You gave her a good run, Emma, good job! That looks really fun. We just received ours yesterday (we got two of the same, I think the Bean), and can’t wait to try them out!
Make sure and fully charge your bean before you use it so it works right.
Congratulations to Madison but you are still #1 to me! I love my activity monitor and it automatically calculates my time and sends Mom messages.
I’m not sure I would my Mom to get messages just in case I was feeling lazy! So happy you are staying fit!
Those young ones are.full of energy and activity!
I bet Simon and Madison would have a lot of fun together!
It was a pretty close contest. Glad you had a clear winner and Bailie didn’t have to make a judgment call.
It was much closer than we expected, but I showed everyone that seniors are still almost as active as puppies!
Way to go for both of them. What a fun little contest!
It was a fun way to test out a product…and it helps keep them both healthy as well.
Pawsome giveaway!
Good luck to all the participants.
Nose nudges,

It’s a pretty neat gadget, or I should say both are pretty neat.
Congrats Madison!! You kept it real close, Emma!!
I’m not about to let miss sassy pants show me up too badly!
Congratulations to both of you! It looks like it was a really close competition!
Mom thought Madison would win by miles, but I showed everyone I’m still going strong at ten!
Duncan needs to start leaning some of these things as soon as my foot surgery is over.
Oh this looks like fun. We sure wish we had had this when Mommy drug us on a death hike through Desoto National Forrest.
So this is just way too much work for us, but fun for you! Love Dolly
It’s not for everyone, but it is a fun gadget for dogs.
Woot, look at you go! Emma we still think that’s a VERY respectable score.
Mom wanted to put one on cat bro Bert, but since he doesn’t wear a collar, it wouldn’t work.
If this is based on activity, there is not contest around here, Jax wins paws down.
LOL! I think it also accounts for age, weight, etc.
What fun. Congrats Madison!
