Happy Independence Day! This is Madison’s first one, so she really wanted to get into the spirit of the day! I guess somewhere she learned about the Star Spangled Banner and insisted on singing it to us all!
Cat bro Bert was also feeling festive about Independence Day this year. Who knows…maybe he heard the holiday involves food! He refused to pose with us, claiming we smell like common dogs. Well, he stinks like a cat, so there!

I sleep through all the nonsense. Madison is curious but goes to sleep. Bailie is a bundle of nerves and a real mess. They are really loud around here. Even Mom hates them because they keep waking her up as they go on into the early morning hours. Hope you have a wonderful 4th despite the boomers.

I hope you had an enjoyable holiday, and for Bailie’s sake, I hope the fireworks were at a minimum.
Mom and Bailie are basically exhausted. 5 nights of super loud fireworks until the early morning hours. Neither got much sleep. Madison and I slept pretty well and only were awakened by the super loud bangs.
