I wanted to show everyone some of the fun times and special moments me and Mom had at my nose work trial earlier this month. Tomorrow Bailie is in her trial and it is also Mom’s birthday. It’s the perfect time for these photos.
These first ones are from my vehicle search. I love how we seem to work together, and Mom is following my direction since I’m the one with the nose.
Sometimes Mom has to get me on track. I lose interest when there is no odor.
Next we have some nice shots from my exterior search. The hide was on the fire hydrant.
I love my food rewards, but I really love a bit of snuggle time the most!
Last up, I have my container search.
A special thank you to Caprise Adams for the wonderful photos she took. I have many more, but these are some real special ones. I wish it was me in the trial with Mom tomorrow, but I will get to see her when she comes home. Bailie better do a real good job, that is all I have to say!

Mom and I do have our very own special bond! Nose work is always important to us whether we do well or not, but doing well, sure helps.

There is nothing better than mommy and me time. I prefer to be an only dog and have her all to myself. She makes sure I get lots of that time.
I love those photos. It really shows how you and your mom are a team – and your bond is even stronger thanks to nosework! Good luck to Bailie tomorrow, although she doesn’t need it! You are so lucky to have so many trials nearby.
Mom and I are a super team now that we are back in our groove. Bailie is more hit or miss…she doesn’t have the work ethic like I do. There are a lot of trials within 6 hours, but the waitlists are always super long. CO has a lot of trials. We might go out there one of these days.

That looks like fantastic fun! I have done other dog sports but I don’t know much about scent trials. You both make it look like a blast!
It’s nothing fast moving, but we find it to be lots of fun.
When there’s more than one dog, one-on-one time with Mom is always precious. Love Dolly

You should look for classes in your area. I know there are a lot of trials on the east coast.
I think the bonding and the fun is what I like most about team sports.
Mom learns a lot about each of us, and we learn a lot about her. It helps with the bonding.
