It will be a quiet day for me today. I’m getting my tooth extracted and the rest of my chompers cleaned for the first time ever. I have really good teeth, so I never needed a cleaning but since they are working on my teeth anyway, they are going to shine them up. I look forward to being back home and resting later today.
No breakfast for me today which is a major bummer, and I have to be to the vet really early. Mom will be worried until she hears I came out of everything fine. I’ll keep you all posted on Facebook later when I’m feeling up to it.
Today, I’m joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop sponsored by BlogPaws! Don’t forget to stop by and visit some new blogs for fun!
Vet visits can always be scary. But I know you’ll enjoy showing off your pearlies when they’re done. Good luck,
I’ve never liked going to the vet. I shake like a leaf, and this won’t be fun, I’m sure of it.
Have a good snoooozy day Emma! My sister has had to get her teeth cleaned and she is zonked the rest of the day. And, kind of silly! She even fell asleep sitting up! Mom had to tap her on the shoulder and walk her to her bed. Ha! See you tomorrow! your doodle friend Dash
I’ve never had it done and they are planning to take my tooth out too. I’m kind of scared.
hang in there. it will be ok. When mom picks you up she will hug you like crazy!
we hope it goes smooth and fast and you are back at home soon… hugs to you and potp for your appointment.
Thank you. Mom just left me at the vet and went home. The nerve!
Keeping our paws crossed for you! Hope it goes well and you get some goodies! 🙂
I just want to get back home.

Keep mummy company while she waits for the news! I’m betting some comfy snuggles on the couch will suit both of you 🙂
My sisters will keep mom busy while I’m being tortured all day, I’m sure.

I just had my teeth cleaned Monday. I feel for you. My mom has to call the vet to tell her that I’m still acting drugged, and not back to my normal mischievous self. Your friend,Elbe
That is really odd. Usually we snap out of it really quickly.
Hoping all goes well sweetheart! xoxo
You know how it is, nerve wracking, but I am sure I will be fine.

Good luck at the dentist 🙂 None of use look forward to getting our teeth clean, but remember it keeps us healthy! And I’m sure you’re mom will spoil you afterwards.
I’m more worried about getting a big one taken out.

Oh my sweetie! I am sending you love and good wishes for your vet visit. I’m sure you will be smiling pretty in no time.
I hope so. It is scary thinking about losing a beloved tooth.

Oh, that’s not a fun way to wrap up all your birthday celebrations! Rita had to go through the same thing for the first time recently – decided to clean her teeth while she was having a suspicious growth removed and had to have 2 teeth that were broken pulled. She was not a happy girl when she came home so we’ll both be sending empathetic thoughts your way!
Mom knows I’m a drama queen and I will be demanding most likely when I get home.

I’m sure you’ll be fine, Emma; but I understand your Mom’s anxiety. I was the same way back in February when Shadow just had her teeth cleaned.
One just never knows when something could go wrong. She is trying to stay busy so she doesn’t think about it too much.

So sorry Emma – we’ll keep an eye out on FB for updates.
I’m back home and resting. Still a bit worn out from it all.

We are thinking of you, Emma, and praying all goes well. We know just how nerve wracking this is for your Mom, so we hope you are done with it and home soon. ♥
I got home later yesterday and am resting nicely here.
Purrs to you sweet Emma, we know everything will be okay.
Thank you, kitties. I’m doing well, just sleeping it all off.
I hope your pearly whites are pearlier and whiter by now, E. And that you got to eat some soft, yummy foods for dinner.
Love and licks,
I had a real tiny dinner, and have been resting and sleeping. Later today I should be more back to my old self.

I hope your mom is doing ok. It’s probably harder on our humans than it is on us. After all, we get to spend the day pretty doped up. Wishing you (and your mom) all the best today, Emma.
Mom kept pretty busy and the vet kept in touch by phone. I’m home sleeping it all off.
Sending hugs to your Mama and sending POTP that you are home and being spoiled!

It’s good to be home sleeping it all off in my own beds, and yes beds. I like to rotate around.
Aw…hope your day went well and you’re back to your normal routine in no time! Simba has never had his teeth cleaned before either. I think we are going to get them cleaned soon.
They only cleaned them because I was already under to get the one broken one pulled. I should be good forever now.

Hope all went well today and that you are recovery nicely. Have a speedy recovery.
I’m still pretty sacked out and will rest a lot today. I think at 11 it takes longer to come out of it all.
You’ll be just fine, poochie. And just think of all those extra kisses, hugs & treats you’ll get from your humans when you get home! Mew Mew!
I tend to be a bit of a drama queen, so I milk it as much as I can.

Poor Emma. Hope you are feeling better. Thunder had a dental appointment this week which did not go well, so now he has to see the doggie dentist. 🙁 He says it stinks getting old.
It stinks for me because I’m not a chewer, but my tooth broke and my chewing sisters have no issues. Not fair. Sorry for Thunder.
2 Brown Dawgs says
Thunder isn’t a chewer either. We were laughing because Storm and Freighter chew on their dog houses and no issues.
