It will be a quiet day for me today. I’m getting my tooth extracted and the rest of my chompers cleaned for the first time ever. I have really good teeth, so I never needed a cleaning but since they are working on my teeth anyway, they are going to shine them up. I look forward to being back home and resting later today.
No breakfast for me today which is a major bummer, and I have to be to the vet really early. Mom will be worried until she hears I came out of everything fine. I’ll keep you all posted on Facebook later when I’m feeling up to it.

Oh, that’s not a fun way to wrap up all your birthday celebrations! Rita had to go through the same thing for the first time recently – decided to clean her teeth while she was having a suspicious growth removed and had to have 2 teeth that were broken pulled. She was not a happy girl when she came home so we’ll both be sending empathetic thoughts your way!
Mom knows I’m a drama queen and I will be demanding most likely when I get home.
I’m sure you’ll be fine, Emma; but I understand your Mom’s anxiety. I was the same way back in February when Shadow just had her teeth cleaned.
One just never knows when something could go wrong. She is trying to stay busy so she doesn’t think about it too much.

I had a real tiny dinner, and have been resting and sleeping. Later today I should be more back to my old self.
I hope your mom is doing ok. It’s probably harder on our humans than it is on us. After all, we get to spend the day pretty doped up. Wishing you (and your mom) all the best today, Emma.
Mom kept pretty busy and the vet kept in touch by phone. I’m home sleeping it all off.

Aw…hope your day went well and you’re back to your normal routine in no time! Simba has never had his teeth cleaned before either. I think we are going to get them cleaned soon.
They only cleaned them because I was already under to get the one broken one pulled. I should be good forever now.

Poor Emma. Hope you are feeling better. Thunder had a dental appointment this week which did not go well, so now he has to see the doggie dentist. 🙁 He says it stinks getting old.
It stinks for me because I’m not a chewer, but my tooth broke and my chewing sisters have no issues. Not fair. Sorry for Thunder.
Thunder isn’t a chewer either. We were laughing because Storm and Freighter chew on their dog houses and no issues.
