Will your dog fall for Snack Sticks this fall? My chicken and I are checking out a some Snack Sticks. They sound good, but will they taste as good as they sound?

As happens every month, I selected a product to review from my friends at Chewy.com. This month I decided to try Newman’s Own Snack Sticks – Chicken & Rice Recipe. Many dogs would choose the sweet potato option instead of rice, but I’m not always a sweet potato fan. I can be a picky eater, but not a food snob like Madison!
I happen to love chicken, which is why I invited my own chicken to help me out with my testing today. The Snack Sticks are super healthy and they smell heavenly! Some of the best features are:
- They are made with organic chicken, grains and vegetables
- There is no wheat or corn, no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives
- The treats are free of added antibiotics and chemical additives
- Made in the USA
- Dogs of any age can eat these Snack Sticks
- To be practical, the package is resealable
My package contained about ten – four inch long sticks. In my dog opinion, one is the ideal size for a snack. Moms tend to enjoy breaking nice sized treats into small pieces which is possible with these Snack Sticks. Lucky for me, I got to have a whole one!
Looks like it is about time to wrap my taste buds around a Chicken & Rice Snack Stick. I can hardly wait!
Oh boy! These are good! They are soft, but they are also crispy on the outside to give them a little touch of crunch. I’d say it is similar to extra crispy KFC chicken…not that I would know anything about that!
My honest opinion, since I am always honest with my friends? Have a look at that photo and my tongue. I’d say these are a winner and your dog will fall for the Snack Sticks this fall if you order them up from Chewy.com! While you are at it, why not order some food and other snacks? Treats are always a hit at our house, and Chewy has such an awesome selection!
Everyone but Madison loves treats here. She is just so very picky and not into edible items at all.

I love the soft but crunchy part of them.
