Our pin collection finally has a home! We get pins for our titles as members of the St. Paul Dog Training Club. They are so cute, but we didn’t know what to do with them, so we asked our Facebook friends, and got the perfect solution! A huge thank you to everyone for some great ideas! I know I can always count on my friends for help when I need it!
Most of our pins are for nose work but we are getting a tracking one, and if my sisters can do it, some barn hunt ones, and a missing one or two nose work ones. We also have a CGC pin. Since most of us do the same sports, Mom only gets one pin for us all to share, but do we do with them? They are super cute, and it is a shame to keep them in a bag buried in a drawer. Our friend Ellen suggested a pinboard/corkboard in a frame.
Mom got to work with Google, and found the perfect frame on Etsy. Procrastination is not a word in Mom’s vocabulary. It is important for the size to not be too big, but also big enough for a growing pin collection. White wash was the color we wanted, but there was no white. After contacting the company, they offered to paint one of the other frames white for us, perfect! The package arrived in just over a week. Look at how cute it was wrapped up, definitely the work of a creative human!
I unwrapped it to get a look at the frame. It is just exactly what we had in mind! Nothing too fancy, but the pins are what will really make it look good.
We put in the pins we have so far, and kind of grouped them. The good news is, we can always move them around as needed. Hopefully we will get a lot more pins between the three of us this year to add to our frame! Our office is our motivational room, so we have the frame on the table in the corner with some other fun things. Doesn’t it look great! Huge GBGV hugs to Ellen for this suggestion. We had no idea such a thing even existed!
Frame It did such a great job with our order, and the customer service, we wanted to share the business card. If you are in need of a frame, check it out and tell her Emma from My GBGV Life sent you! I don’t get anything for referrals, but it is nice for businesses to know where their clients come from.
Don’t forget to enter to win your own photo pillow! Weekends are the perfect time to enter! The giveaway ends Monday night!
That looks PAWfect!!! Like it was tailor made for you all. We have a new Therapy pup in the group at work who does competition nose work – who knows – there may be hope for Jaxson after all.
I didn’t even start nose work until I was 7 1/2 and I have a lot of titles. It is a sport for dogs and humans of all ages.
HOWLING success, Joy! Awesome idea!
I’m glad I asked my Facebook friends for help, because we had no idea what to do with them.

They look fabulous – and I don’t doubt it will get filled nciely… hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
We know we will keep adding those pins one at a time and one day it will be a full frame.
Iβm so excited that it all worked out. Thank you so much for the shout out. That is exactly what I have. I should tell a Twins fan this but I have Yankee World Series Pinβs in mine. How nice that Frame It painted a White one for you. All of this for the love of Emma, Bailie and Madison. YAY
Your idea was perfect. We had never heard of a corkboard in a photo frame type thing. It is exactly what we were looking for and we love that we can move them and add more. It’s okay to have a Yankees World Series pin. Our Twins have won that too. Now if it was something from football, we might be a tiny bit upset π Have a lovely weekend.
Aren’t Etsy stores the best? We get almost everything on Etsy and every store owner we’ve worked with has been so great at helping to customize things to make sure it’s exactly what I want! That looks super cute–my sister has something similar with all of her race medals from her half marathons.
We have only bought things on Etsy twice, but both times have been great experiences. Great idea for your sister. My mom has her marathon stuff, numbers, medals, and certificates in big frames, but she doesn’t plan on running any more of them, so no need for more space.
How fun that you can get pins too, and we think that frame is absolutely perfect! There really are some great stores on Etsy that will give you exactly what you want.
We only get the pins from the dog club where we do some of our training. Actual nose work has ribbons and certificates for titles. The pins are cute, but we didn’t know what to do with them.
oh that is a super idea… you can create an artpiece from memories… the mama said she will do that with my ribbons once too… ummm what ribbons?
You better get busy and figure out how to get some ribbons. We get ours from sports, but I think you might have to go to dog shows. Thankfully, my mom isn’t interested in taking us to dog shows.
That is a wonderful pin collection and a terrific way to display them proudly!
We are happy with it. As we have more pins, it will look even better.
That’s the perfect idea for a pin collection.
It really works well. We are all very happy with it.
That looks great. It was nice of Frame It to custom paint one for you.
They were fast and accommodating. We are happy customers.
That is really nice and such a great idea. I have some pins too, they are sitting in a bowl.
Ours were in a bag either in the bowl in the kitchen, or in the drawer. It’s nice to have them out now.
What a cute idea!
Thank you. It is just right for our pins.
Love it!
We are so happy our friend Ellen gave us the idea when we asked for suggestions on Facebook.
That is so cute! I have a corkboard on my desk hutch and love all of my pins. They are just funny dog pins no awards. BOL!
Funny dog pins would be good too. It was just so sad to have them in a bag where we could never see them.
What a perfect way to display your pins!!

Finally we have our cute pins displayed.
The pins are really cute and the board was a perfect suggestion for where to put them. I’m sure you three will get many more and there is plenty of room to put them. Congrats:)
There are a couple missing already. We will fill it in for sure.
