Welcome to the world of modeling, Bailie and Madison! Last week, my sisters were asked to do a photo shoot for Target, and they jumped on the opportunity. Actually, they wanted Bailie for the job, but asked Madison to come along to see how she would work out. The two wild sisters headed for the big city of Minneapolis in the car with Mom as their chauffeur. 
It’s about time those two started to earn some money. I bring in the really big bucks with my blogging empire, and I have also done modeling for Target in the past. I was on product labels for a dog bed cover, and a crate mat. Heavens, even cat bro Bert had a modeling job just over a year ago for Carlson Pet Products! 
The assignment was a simple one really. They had to put on a red collar for starters, and there was a person on the set who took care of the dog not modeling at the time. Bailie was on her “union break” while they reviewed the photos to make sure they had what they were looking for. Poor Bailie was worn out from lying in the bed for about twenty minutes. 
She did seem happy with the results of her shoot. See how she is smiling while the crew talks about all of her shots? 
Madison got her turn as well. For a youngster, she did really well staying in the bed, and not moving when asked to hold still. The shoot was for signage at Target. Bailie was the dog they wanted, but who knows, they may choose Madison? Mom likes Madison’s colors better with the red, but it is not up to her who they choose. In a few months, Mom will start looking for them at Target. If you ever see any of us in your Target, let us know!

Bailie has a big audition tomorrow for another company where she has to work off commands when Mom is off the set. We will see how that goes. Seems like it is all or nothing with modeling.

I have to agree with mum, that in this case, the black and white contrast of Madison’s coat with the very fine red bed is quite stunning – but then again, I am sure the pale furs of Baillie would be just as fine. I mean, even I might look okay on that magnificent red colour!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
They seemed to like Bailie’s furs with the red best, but Mom loves red/black/white. We shall see down the road what they choose.
oh you are beautiful… and you can rock all catwalks of this world. Do you think I could become a model too? I would like that… I only need a super fast photograph… I’m a pup the germans call the zappelphilipp ;O)
The photographers are professionals, so they know how to shoot movement.

It was fun for them, and Bailie has an audition for an even bigger job with another company tomorrow. She is working on her commands since she has to be moving and doing things on command.

We hope Mom finds them. It’s always a big job to look for them. Because we don’t know when or where.
We’re so glad you’re getting some help with the work load around there, Emma! It looks like your sisters are following right in your pawsteps and doing quite well. We don’t get to Target too often since we don’t have one very nearby but when I do get there I’ll be on the lookout!
Mom is sad you don’t have one nearby. She is always going there for something.
They did great! I would have LOVED to have gotten Dakota into modeling but never pursued it. I don’t usually shop at Target, but if I end up in one I will look for sure!
My mom loves Target, so she will keep an eye out and I’m sure we will post something when she sees the photo.

They had a fun time.
Mica would have made a perfect model, she has always followed the rules perfectly. But all black is a tough color to use, Lexie (was), and Aspen are always moving and can’t be still that long. I think it is great that they asked Bailie was called in to model, personally I think Madison looked better, but who knows what they want. We will be watching for one of them to show up in Target:)
Many people thing was are always mellow, quiet dogs, but we have a lot of energy. We just know when to be quiet and hold still. Newfies are hard with being so big and solid black.
Congratulations to the super stars! A model’s life is ruff so hope you guys get lots of union breaks. And treats. LOTS of treats for having to stay so beautiful.
We model every day it seems for the blog, but getting a real job modeling is so much more difficult. We do love it, though, and it pays well in treats.
