It’s time to say “goodbye” to nasty dog breath, don’t you think? I love taking a nice afternoon nap in my wicker kennel, on my soft bed, it is like sleeping in a den! What I don’t like is the nasty dog breath I have when I wake up!

Lucky for me, as a #ChewyInfluencer Chewy.com sent me a package of Dr. Lyon’s Dental Treats for Dogs! According to the package, they are supposed to not only freshen my breath, but also help remove tartar and plaque buildup. I always like a snack after a nice nap, making these dental treats perfect for me!
The dental treats are mint flavored which I noticed right away after opening up the bag. They smell really yummy!
We took a few of them out of the resealable bag to have a look. They are the right size for a dog like myself. Notice the unique brush shape, and texture to assist in getting the nasty stuff off our teeth that causes bad dog breath!
Finally, it was time to get up close and personal with one of these dental treats. A few more benefits of these chews are:

We are still chewing greenies for teeth and breath. Mom tried a couple other flavors but we did not like them. To tell you the truth, our teeth are clean and no one smells us after a nap. Glad they are making your breath smell better after naps 🙂
My breath is pretty good, except when I have a lot of fish treats, which I love.
It always surprises me how much dogs love mint flavor, it’s always been a favorite with all of our dogs!

We never had anything from Dr. Lyon’s before, but we really like these chews.
I finally got the Boys weaned from dental chews. They were too expensive and I never really saw much improvement. We’ve gone back to brushing more.
We rarely buy them specifically, but they are nice every now and then. We brush and have our dental powder that both keep our chompers healthy.
