What does a hound have to do to get a lift at Afton Alps during a nose work trial? Obviously, this lift was going nowhere.
The next day, Madison found even bigger issues with most of the chairs lying in the snow on the ground!
Today, Iβm joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop sponsored by BlogPaws! Donβt forget to stop by and visit some new blogs for fun!
The snow covered chair lifts don’t look too useful now!
No, they sure don’t. It was a weird thing to see.
Oh darn – I thought that maybe you girls were going skiing or snowboarding. A closed ski area seems like a great place for a nosework trial. I hope that you had fun!
We’ve had a couple trials at ski places and they are super fun. The interiors are the best searching rooms with ski equipment.
I was surprised to see the ski area closed, then I remembered that it’s actually April. The worst part about this weather is you never know how to dress for your walk.
Here it is still below freezing in the mornings when we go out, so no question on human apparel π
The wild sisters should ask you to take them for a spin in your automobile! Fun pictures, Emma. Have a good day! your doodle friend Dash
Bailie and I have gone cruising in Gramma’s convertible. Mom says the two wild ones would distract my driving, so I best drive with one or neither of them.
If she’s upset, imagine how those skiers feel!
I don’t think they would enjoy walking up the hills.
Oh geez, the lifts are never available when you need one – kind of like buses and taxis in our neck of the woods.
Exactly. You know what I mean.
Good service is really lacking there in that snow world, isn’t it?! You’d think there would be a snowman, a reindeer or a Yeti somewhere around! Maybe they’re inside the lodge drinkin’ hot cocoa? You two are patient pups. Tee hee hee.
We have lots of waiting time at our trials to find stuff like these odd lift problems.
Aw, that could have been a lot of fun, girls!
It would have been fun to go for a ride way up high, but scary too.
I’d say those chairs aren’t going anywhere’s.
I think the place is pretty much closed for the season!
I guess there isn’t usually that much snow in April! LOL!
It is our second coldest April ever, and in the top ten for snow. It happens.
Looks like the customer service is lacking at that ski resort!

The lift part is really lacking in service!
Yeah, I’m guessing no hounds are going anywhere in those!
The chairlift option was pretty much dead.
