Bailie’s 5th birthday party was a success, and she says 5 is fun! Madison did a good job with all the party planning, not forgetting anything, and choosing things Bailie loves.
The birthday cake came out just perfect! Madison ordered a peanut butter cake with purple decorating. She found this bakery not far from us online. They make all natural items which is great! The fun confetti like boarder is made from colored coconut. Since we couldn’t eat it all in one sitting, we can keep it in the fridge for a few days, or freeze it for another time.
All of us were a bit impatient waiting for Mom to cut the cake, and get us a piece on our own plates, but we know photos are always necessary, so we waited.
Bailie, being the birthday girl, got her piece first. She eats like a machine, but is also real good at not digging in until Mom tells her it is alright to do so. Of course, she requested an end piece with more frosting and coconut!
Once Mom said we could dig in, we did…well, Bailie and I did. Madison started to complain about her piece, and wanted to have Bailie’s piece of cake instead, but Bailie wasn’t having any of that.
Bailie and Madison exchanged a few words… “Madison, eat your cake!” “But I might not like it.” “You ordered it, what do you mean you might not like it?” Meanwhile, I enjoyed my piece of birthday cake.
After the little exchange of words, Madison decided it would be alright to give the cake a try. Such a food snob!
Being polite as always, Bailie checked in with me to make sure I was enjoying my cake. Note the mess Bailie has by her plate. The cake isn’t even on the plate anymore, oh my!
Overall, once we all got started eating, the birthday cake was a huge success, and it brought smiles to our furry faces. Bailie said her 5th birthday party was fun so far, but what about the presents?
I think Bailie has pretty much everything she needs, so I decided to get a t-shirt for my mom. My sisters insist on continuing in their rat hunting careers. Dogs run naked, but Bailie is still our purple girl, naked or not. Teddy Dog had this cute shirt in purple, so I ordered it for Mom to wear when Bailie does her barn hunt trials. Next up, the gift from Madison. I wonder what she chose for Bailie? Most likely, she picked out something she would like to play with too!
Bailie loves her new go dog furry face ball with a squeaker! She started playing it right away, but we have to still keep her from running around all wild, so play is limited. Madison stole it back as soon as Bailie left to take a nap!
It was a great 5th birthday party for all of us! Madison did a wonderful job on everything from hats, to cake, and the presents. Lots of fun was had, and we look forward to many more birthdays in the coming years!

She did. For some reason, she will never eat new things. She plays with them, or refuses to even taste them but if we are patient, she finally gives in and eats. Now she loves the cake and eats it right up. Silly food snob.
Madison could be a professional party planner. Hard to believe Bailie is 5. Seems like she just joined your family.

Sometimes it is embarrassing when someone gives her a treat, she takes it and then drops it on the floor and walks away. Once she tries something, she is usually good about eating it again in the future.

Teddy Dog has such fun shirts, but they are only available for limited time, so we always have to rush if we see one we like. The cake turned out well, and was a great idea.
wow, i am so impressed with all of you girls, Madison ordered a beautiful cake. i bet it was good. your mom did a great job taking pictures, especially the ones of Bailie talking. they make those fuzzy face fur balls in gigantic sizes. there is a store in florida that has one.
It was a fun party. Bailie likes her new furball, but Madison keeps trying to take it over. I think she had ulterior motives when she chose that gift.
