Recently we have been on the lookout for a new dog treat pouch which would carry the phone, poop bags, keys, and maybe even treats. We saw Mighty Paw had a pouch that would probably work. They also have a super cool Handle X2 Dual Handle Dog Leash Mom wanted to try out. She says she gets tired of winding the leash around her hand to make it shorter when needed. Mighty Paw sent over the two items we wanted to try along with a cute hook for hanging up the leash when we are not using it.
Practical Dog Treat Pouch for Dog Walking
The dog treat pouch comes with an adjustable belt. It has a large compartment with a drawstring closure for treats, a toy, possibly two tennis balls, there is a zipper compartment, poop bag dispenser, an open pocket on the back side, and a clasp on the side where you could hook up a key or set of keys. It pretty much covers any needs you would have in a dog walking pouch.
2 Handle Leash for Dog Walking
We love the bright green accent coloring on both products, you know we love bright colors! The dual handle six foot leash is nicely padded, and has a second handle twelve inches from the dog. It is made of weather proof nylon, and has reflective stitching. Matching is always important at our house, and we love the look of this matching set!
How do these items work when one goes for a walk? Mom and I headed out to give the leash and pouch a test run. First we tried using the leash as a six foot leash. The handle feels great in Mom’s paws, it is lightweight, and sturdy. The dog treat pouch fit nicely around Mom’s waist, and holds the items we need for a walk.
I am a shorter pup, so we were wondering if the twelve inch from the dog handle would be long enough for Mom to grab. Evidently, we are the perfect walking team! The handle could not be any more perfectly placed. I was not pulled, and Mom could stay upright, and keep walking!
We highly recommend both items, but for our use, the dog treat pouch is the dog walking hit! Mom has been wearing it daily since it arrived. The leash will be awesome for those times when she takes just one of us somewhere which does happen fairly frequently.

It’s great being large enough to really hold stuff, the zip compartment, we love it. Even water just rolls off, and we know that having received about 4″ of rain in the past 36 hours with it still coming down.
We don’t need either item, though the $500 cash prize would be nice.

Oh, I need that pouch! In the winter, I can stuff everything I need in my coat pockets, but this time of year I can’t fit it all in my jeans or shorts pockets. It seems overkill to wear a big pack for just a few small things when we only walk around our own area (but I need to have things with us for training, etc., and of course, my phone). I do like that extra handle on the leash too, for when I need to stop Luke from eating something he shouldn’t in the woods. 🙂
Mom has the same problem in the summer with no storage for the stuff she needs to carry along. This pouch is perfect for her. The leash is super comfy to hold on to and that short handle works great when you need it.

This looks like it solves my problem. Presently I have a poop bag holder attached to the leash, i hold a treat bag, wear a fanny pack to carry money, and a large bag to carry tennis balls, etc. This would make me happy.

I just bought an armband to hold the iPhone, and treat bags, but with the case on the phone, it just doesn’t work. Does Mom have a case on her phone, and if so, does the phone fit in the treat pouch?
I have a handle leash for Sampson, but I hate the way the heavy part of that additional handle pulls on the leash.
Actually, Mom got a new phone last week and it is too long for like every carrying device. She puts it in the treat pouch area and it fits with room to grow. It will also fit in the back open pocket, but knowing my mom and her accident prone tendencies, she prefers to have it safely locked up. There is a cover on the phone. We have an arm band thing, but Mom has the same problem with all her phones slipping down her arm as she runs. We really love this pouch. It has everything we need and in the rain, it just runs off the nylon.

i have one from abt 2 years ago, that has a belt to wear around your waist as well, i love it. love the padded collar.
We love this one because it is plenty big to hold everything.
