My sisters enjoyed hanging out on the front porch of this old home last weekend. The barn hunt trial was at the Isanti County Fairgrounds, and the building was right next to the Isanti County Historical Society. The old home was moved to this location, but was lived in for 122 years at its original location. We don’t speak Swedish, so we are not sure what the sign over the door says, something about welcome.
I think at one point they saw an historical Swedish squirrel run by. I don’t know what else would cause the to be so focused in one direction all of the sudden. The house was locked up tight, but it was still fun to sit on the front porch, and be on such an old, historical place.
That’s a very cool looking place and of course you two look terrific!
Old places are fun for photos and sniffin around.
oh please look if they have that swedish chocolate in that store… the mama needs some while waiting for the plumber ;O)
Oh my! My mom loves Swedish chocolate too!
Old buildings are so cool! We bet that one might harbor some chipmunks and mice too, that and the squirrels could keep the girls busy! π
Fairgrounds always have tons of good smells, and old buildings lots of critter smells.
I bet it was a ghost! My sister Lilly and I see ghosts too! What a cool photo Emma. Have a great day, your doodle friend Dash
Like that! Mom thinks we are making fun of her when we see a ghost that she doesn’t see. It’s lots of fun.
That’s a great old building. And you never know, those historical squirrels are everywhere!
They hoped to find a really old one who couldn’t run fast.
I love old, historical buildings too! Especially if they have resident ghosts! Like Dash, Shadow and Ducky see ghosts quite often; but their favorite ghost is their older sister, Callie. β€οΈ?
That would be a favorite ghost. We see Katie in other animals sometimes.
What a nice place to sit and cool off, not to mention squirrel hunt!!

Rosy, Jakey and Arty
Lots of critters around there!
Squirrels (Swedish or not) always get my attenshun too.
We don’t discriminate with squirrel nationality either!
It is the name of the couple who built it saying welcome . Now the squirrel…it sure was a head turner! And We missed it! DANG! Chablis & Elbe
Squirrels and other furry critters are always head turners! Thanks for the Swedish help!
those photos are so charming! Looks like the old West! What is a Swedish squirrel???
I have never seen a Swedish squirrel, but I would guess they are blonde?
Beautiful place to hang out.
