What is a stuffed toy, puzzle toy, and a ball? A Lotus Ball! As you know, Madison is doing agility, and we were told a Lotus Ball would be a good thing for her to have as a reward, so Mom ordered her one.
Mom and Madison have awesome instructors for their agility classes. They are always very positive, helpful, and kind. Madison has been using just treats for rewards, but should try to get some play involved. The key to this ball is it holds treats in the middle.
Lotus balls are not easy to find. Mom went online and ordered this one in the larger size they had. It is the right size for Madison, and she did enjoy playing with it after some of her runs the other night at class.
The three leaves are held together with velcro. By peeling them open, you expose the treat area.
Mom then drops some treats in there to make it interesting and pushes the leaves back together.
By teasing Madison a bit with the smells of the ball, she is interested enough to want to play with it. Normally, none of us have any interest in a ball. She pushes her nose into the center and starts to split the leaves open so she can grab the treats.
The only downfall is the velcro seems to stick to her beard furs. It doesn’t hurt, and she can peel it off her beard with a paw swipe or two.
It seems to be a real nice toy to use for rewarding a good agility run, or any training for that matter. It is lightweight too. The only thing we find to be missing is a squeaker!
***We purchased the Lotus Ball for our own use. This is not a sponsored post in any way.***

What an interesting toy! I’m sure my Boston’s would end up tearing it up though.
If a dog is rough with soft food toys, it might not last too long.
That looks like a fun toy. Torrey would enjoy that for sure.
We are surprised at how much Madison enjoys it.
This looks like something Rosy might enjoy!
HAppy Weekend!

They have a smaller one that would be perfect for her.
That does look like some pretty cool fun!
Madison seems to really like it.
nice toy, not sure how long it would last with Harley. i like that it has a place to put treats and they have to work for it.
It is a toy and also a puzzle which is the beauty of it.
That looks like fun! The Velcro would definitely stick to Pierre too. LOL!
Problems we have with beards!
That sounds perfect for Madison! Hmm, Shyla might like that. She’s far more wild about treats than toys… so those treats in the middle might motivate her. I might get her one!
It is a fun way to get a pup to play with the toy.
That is a pretty cool reward for after a agility run.
Madison is liking it.
Cool toy!! I think it would be a goner if Matt got hold of it he tends to go right for the destuff. LOL

For real crazy rip apart types it would not be too good.
I think Luke would really love this! He likes to play in the evening but it’s so hot right now, no one really wants to be running around. This might be a fun distraction for him.
I bet he would like this toy.
Looks like fun. I agree with you-a squeaker would make this toy this toy a 5 star toy. What about
I guess a squeaker might put it over the top for some dogs, but Madison would love it.
Some of our agility classmates use those! We don’t use toys with Barley because she doesn’t care about toys when other dogs are around and Rye is already so amped up in agility that I’m afraid a toy would make her brain explode 🙂 I’m glad that Madison likes this one so much.
Mom uses it and she also uses treats as Madison doesn’t always want a toy. She is tough to reward!
