August is National Eye Exam Month! Don’t run the risk of missing out on seeing a wabbit or squirrel. Make sure your veterinarian checks your eyes to keep them healthy. We have ours checked with every annual exam. Last year, our vet told me I need glasses for reading, but I was already wearing them for reading. I think Bailie likes to wear glasses to look smart!

Mom says it would better to be deaf than blind, but we don’t want to be either.
I just had my own eyes checked on Monday. Shadow and Ducky get their eyes checked every year as well. Shadow could probably use glasses for reading, too; but she doesn’t read, so it doesn’t matter.
It saves money on books and glasses if Shadow doesn’t read!

Eye checks are easy peasy. We don’t even have to read any numbers or letters to our vet.
Yes, Bailie, sometimes glasses are just a fashion statement….and they do make you look smart. 🙂

Jakey and I have great eyes…but Arty’s has eye issues that we have to have checked twice a year.

Thanks for the reminder. Poor R is starting to have trouble seeing at night due to cataracts. Of course, we asked if there was cataract surgery for dogs, and we were told “no”!!!! Hrumph.
I have cataracts and our vet also said they don’t do surgery on dogs. Mom noticed because my eyes are getting grey instead of being their beautiful brown. Getting old is no fun!

Your glasses are so cute. Our vet checks our eyes at our well dog check-up.
That is when we have ours checked too. Just part of the entire body check.
