Happiness is, the return of the wild pants at our house. My sisters survived three, long, agonizing months of rest, and no play due to Bailie’s muscle injury. Earlier this month, Bailie’s rehab vet cleared her to start playing with Madison again. It started slow the first week, but then the complete package of fun returned.
I only have one question. Who let the hounds out? They picked up right where they left off the end of May!
After such a long break from fun, some play bow, and contemplation was in order. Ready, set, go!
Bailie can sure smile while running at high speed!
In between all the racing around, a girl feels the need to wrestle too. Does Bailie have the upper paw here, or is Madison sneaking in for the take down from below?
It sure looks like Bailie broke loose, and went flying through the air with the greatest of ease! Over the long break she sure managed to keep her fitness and form.
Now for a bit of bitey face while catching their breath. The two of them still have plenty of energy, but their stamina could use a bit of work when it comes to the racing.
And it’s back on the road again after a short break. Catch me if you can seems to be the game.
Both my sisters “suffered” during the three month break. I am sure for my sisters, true happiness is the return of the wild pants!Β Madison gave her favorite big sister a hug, because she was so happy life is getting back to normal!
That is so wonderful to see, go Bailie go!
She has a few months of tearing around to make up for!
Yay, we are so glad to see those crazy girls back to being crazy! They both look very happy! β₯
They are super duper happy.
I’m so glad your sisters can run and jump like whirlwinds again… to take a break is veeery difficult for energizer bunnies ;O)
It was so hard to keep them settled, but then they got used to it and it took a bit for them to get going again.
I donβt know how you kept her still for so long. Congratulations to Mommy.
They realized play was not allowed and if they played, they had to come inside. It was not easy, but they made it through.
Yaaayyy! Glad to see you back in action.
Zoom, zoom…that is about all we are hearing once again.
Aw, it’s good to see the wild pants girls being wild together again!!
I think even our yard was sad with no one playing on it.
Once in a while I catch Sampson trying to play with Delilah. I love watching them play, just seeing the joy in their faces. It looks like they really missed playing.
They both missed it a lot. Bailie seemed to understand, but Madison couldn’t give up trying to get Bailie to play with her. They are a fun pair.
Yeah…they look so happy to be playing again.
They are super happy!
Those are two very happy girls! We bet you are pretty happy too Emma, because all that playing must tire them out!

Dear Emma
Thank you for the lovely comment on our precious little Diva.
She gave Diva a new meaning. Each time I see a sun puddle or a box I’ll smile. She gave me so much joy and I’m pretty sure she’d be royally UPSET if I quit blogging so I will be back …and who knows an Angelic Diva will probably fly every so often too.
Hugs and Proud to have been Mom of Madi
Cecilia
I too am a diva of the canine kind. She will be there to guide you when you need her.
This post was three long months in coming and I couldn’t be happier to see Bailie racing like the wind again!! I know y’all are so glad to be able to race, chase and roll again. β₯
We really are! It seems like forever since the wild ones were able to race again, but they are back at it, full speed ahead! At least she never had to stop her huggles during recovery.
they look like my 2 gals running, chasing one another, playing bitey, bitey. i know they are both glad to be back playing again.
Boy does it make them happy! Fun to watch when your dogs play like this, isn’t it?
They look so happy!
They are as they love playing together.
Bet they are happy to get to play again!
It was a long, long, recovery time that we didn’t know if we would survive, but it all worked out.
Haha they have wild hairs up their butts!!!
They are back to 100% crazy here!
Sure is nice to see them playing again
It is wonderful! They are both so much happier and more relaxed now.
