Believe in your dog. Trust in your dog. She will not let you down.
We know this to be true from our experiences in training and dog sports. Trusting your dog helps her to build confidence which gives her the courage to do what she is supposed to do. Actually trusting your dog may not be easy, but try it, and you will find the results are amazing.
That’s so true for each of you!
Mom works on trusting us, but it isn’t always easy.
Dog….man’s best friend! π I was just telling DH last night that I’d love to get a dog but that’s not going to happen until we’re able to get into a larger place with a big property. I can’t have animals in the house due to allergies but if we had a nice garage or unfinished basement for our furry friend to sleep at night or when it’s too cold then I’d certainly consider getting one. Meanwhile, I will just enjoy looking at them from afar. π Happy WW!
My mom has allergies too, but still has three dogs and two cats in the house. We don’t shed, so we don’t cause much allergy trouble. Sometimes the cats do.
This is great advice, and so true, Emma! β₯
Trust can be hard, but it is also rewarding when you take the plunge with a dog.
Dogs are truly man’s best friend. They are so loyal and faithful.
We are amazingly loyal, and out humans should try to be the same.
That is for sure! I wish I were half the woman my dogs think I am.
YES! We play at nosework just so we can train our Mom to trust us.
It’s taken time, but Mom is learning to trust us. It works out better for all when there is trust and she doesn’t meddle in out jobs.
I would truck my dog more than myself.
Dogs are much more trustworthy than humans most of the time I think.
Very true.
Very sound advice, Miss Emma! Ducky does so much better with Shadow these days, since we started trusting her.
We know when you don’t trust us, and then we lose confidence and it all goes wrong. Trust is a wonderful thing if it is used right.
I agree, trust needs to go both ways. It’s a bond that will reap many wonderful things.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. β₯
We trust our humans from day one, but humans have a tough time trusting us. Trust makes for a wonderful bond.
We always believe our dogs except when Pierre says he needs to go outside when he hears someone else barking. BOL!
My sisters play that game, only it is usually when they have spotted a critter Mom hasn’t noticed.
well said… dogs are the better peeps…
Very true. If people were more like dogs, the world would be much nicer, and butt sniffing would never be a problem again.
We love this and think we may have to print it out and put it up so Mama can see it everyday!

It’s not always an easy task for humans, but humans should at least give it a try and see the results.
My collies make my life better, they bring me so much joy. I definitely believe in them, they are always ready to do whatever I ask.
We are an independent breed, so we are not always real obedient, but when it is important, Mom can count on us.
What a perfect thing to remind us all of, and I love the photo!
Thank you. We dogs are worth trusting, it’s the humans we have to watch out for.
I love this! Many different kinds of trust and dogs are wonderful in so many different ways.
Very true. Trusting your dog makes a big difference in your relationship, and really helps us dogs.
That is so true with any animal. If you trust them, then you get their trust. Have a good day.
But often times humans don’t trust their animals and that is not good.
Dogs are BFF’s with paws.
This is true.
