Bailie got to hit Pahls Halloween Market with Mom earlier this week. Normally, I go with her every year but Bailie rarely gets any mommy and me time, so I decided she should go this year. They went a bit late, so it wasn’t as full of Halloween items as usual, but it was still nice.
As always, there were pumpkins galore to choose from. Mom has never seen so few pumpkins, but there were still more than plenty around! Usually when I go with Mom there are twice as many.
Inside they had table after table of Indian corn in all sizes, single ears, or bunches. Bailie would not look at the camera for a good reason. Just on the other side of the Indian corn tables is a corn maze for kids. She saw all the straw bales and thought she was at a barn hunt trial. Bailie had her focus on the bales and the kids looking for rats (at least she figured they were hunting rats).
In the back of one greenhouse, they had a lot of really big, and really ugly pumpkins. They would sure make for some spooky carved faces!
Speaking of scary, Bailie found some scary ceramic pumpkins. The faces are not looking real welcoming! The one in the middle must be a relative of Herman Munster.
Bailie found the greenhouse full of pumpkins, but even it was not very full compared to when I have been there earlier in the month. Mom is always amazed no children have been smushed under the tables balancing on concrete block pieces. They are not real stable.
Out front then always decorate the old truck for the season. Bailie wanted to pose by the memorial to their dog who passed two years ago.
That was the short outing to Pahls Halloween Market. They didn’t buy much, but had a nice time. Now it is crunch time for trick or treaters. Just a few more days until candy time!

Every year we search for the Great Pumpkin, but so far have not found it.

She loved some alone time with mom. Madison and I get more of it than she does, so it is extra special.

We always love your photos of visiting the pumpkin market. Bailie did a good job of posing too. That old truck is really cool, and how sweet that they have a memorial for their late dog there.
Definitely a dog friendly place. We are excited to see the truck decorated for Christmas.

Bailie never seems to get the alone time Madison and I do…middle child thing maybe, so it was extra special.

She picked three smaller ones with large stems. Probably no surprise, since Bailie always chews on pumpkin stems.
Leave it to Bailey to check the bales – but hey, weren’t those” rug rats” running around? A girl’s gotta have fun!

It is the favorite time for all of us. Bailie seems to get a bit shorted, so it is extra special for her.
I sure wish we had a house instead of living on the second floor of a condo. I was thinking of getting a pumpkin but who would see it when we don’t have trick or treaters here? 🙁 Love your photos!
In a condo, you would need to decorate and get a pumpkin just for you. We have ours out front, but put them away on Halloween because kids will steal and smash them sometimes later at night.
