Holidays for us means time for our ChristmasClaude stockings! This will be the fifth year we have our fancy stockings hanging from the mantel. Imagine the embarrassment on Christmas when Santa arrives to find there are no stockings to be filled. Naughty or nice, every pet should have a stocking of their very own.
Back in 2014, Emma stumbled across the adorable bone stockings. Her sense of fashion, and decorating taste spurred her on to order stockings for not only herself, but for Katie and Bailie as well. When they arrived, Emma was amazed at the quality, and the cuteness.
In 2016, Katie passed away, and the family was blessed with me, little Madison. It was very important to Emma that I had my own stocking. She contacted ChristmasClaude for a new name tag, and was sent not only the name tag, but more stockings in fun new patterns. I was in shock over my new stocking…it was huge, and so pretty too!
Bailie checked out her own new plaid stocking. Now the problem was deciding which stockings to hang each year.
Emma hung our stockings with care over the fireplace in time for Santa’s arrival. She was thrilled with the look of the new patterns.
This year it has been hard to get our stockings out of storage because we only need two. Bailie and I decided to use ChristmasClaude stockings that compliment each other, since we are pretty bonded together. Emma would like the matching idea too.

That is true. We considered not hanging up any stockings this year, but ChristmasClause forced us to get them out. We love them, but they make Mom cry. Perhaps we will hang up ones for Katie and Emma too. Thank you for the suggestion.

Oh my dog! So adorable! I know how difficult it must be for you opening up your Christmas boxes and seeing sweet Emma’s stocking and other Christmas items that belonged to her. Sending HUGE XOXO! Sparkle
Mom says it makes her painfully happy, and then the tears go again. I didn’t know humans could have so many tears but I’m doing my best to make her happy. For this post, I behaved like Emma when modeling. I kept sitting perfect, running to the room when I heard the camera, and did everything Mom asked me too. Bailie was the usual Bailie. Mom said I was amazing, but then she started to cry. I’m not sure what she really wants me to do, but we will get through it.
Your stockings are so cute! I’m sure Santa paws is going to fill them up!
I sure hope so. Next I need to find out where I can go to visit Santa and give him my list.
Aren’t those adorable! I especially love the fish ones for cats. Sam hasn’t had a new stocking in years (maybe never), and Luke got hand-me-downs from his angel brothers. We’ll have to take a look at these!
Mom and Emma fell in love with these when they were looking for stockings five years ago, and then we were contacted by ChristmasClaude. We have several to choose from, but the decision is always tough. The fishys are adorable too.

These are super cute! I especially love the fish one with the Santa belt. We don’t have a mantle, though, so the stockings stay at my parents’ house for the pets to open when they visit Grandma and Grandpa–and Grandma made Soth, Barley, and Rye each their own stocking, so we’ll just have to admire yours 🙂
The fish with the Santa belt is our favorite kitty one too. I’m sure they love getting their stockings at gramma and grampa’s house.

We think the fishys are purrfect for kitties, but for some reason, our kitties don’t have stockings.
