Happy Thanksgiving to all our family and friends! We will be hosting the dinner today. Mom is working on the big bird in the kitchen so it is done on time. Despite the sadness in our lives right now, we have so many things to be thankful for. We have a mom who loves us so much, a great home, plenty of healthy food, our sports, lots of fun adventures, and plenty of exercise. Our friends online and in Blogville are also something we are very thankful for. All the support in good and sad times is amazing.
One thing we might not be too thankful for is our pesty cat bro Bert, but we think he means well. He is just a cat who is always in trouble. Today he will spend a lot of time in the basement because he gets into any food that is out, and will jump up onto the table during dinner. We don’t need that! He likes the basement because there is a lot of stuff to rummage around in.

Hopefully your Thanksgiving was a good one. Ours was nice, but then it was back to the usual. Mom is still so very sad, lots of tears around here. We try out best to keep her distracted, and she is thankful she has me and Bailie, but she is still so very sad without Emma. Sudden loss makes it so much harder.
Bert is so cute in that hat! I hope he had a good Thanksgiving in the basement–Soth stayed upstairs and got a few bites of turkey with the dogs!
