CBD pet chews come in 2 mg sized treats. They can easily be divided depending on how much your dog needs. The chews are soft and made with tasty beef flavor. Recommended dosages are on each package. It is suggested you start with the lowest dosage and adjust it after seeing how your dog reacts.
Do I like CBD Pet Chews?
I happen to love these beef flavored chews, can you tell? I’m a dog who seems to need more than the average dose, but that is okay as there is no build up in my system. The effects of the CBD last just four to five hours.
My mom is always careful to keep the package out of my reach because I love them so much, I might try to eat the entire bag!
This is me sitting nervously on a car ride, not knowing what to do with myself and my anxiety. You can see the stress in my eyes, and sometimes I even quiver.
When traveling more than just to a class or around town, I get my CBD chews about half an hour before we leave. Sometimes I am still nervous when we start out the driveway, but then I mellow out and at times will even take a short nap. Madison loves the car and is always sitting up looking out the window, which means I can stretch out and take up most of the back seat. The CBD doesn’t have any hallucinatory effects, it is just a relaxant, so when the car stops I have no trouble getting up and walking around like normal.

What is with your cousins? You should give it a try. It is definitely worth testing out, and I use more than my recommended dose for the car, so try increasing slightly if a normal dose isn’t doing it for you.
I think CBD is a great product for dogs, for a variety of reasons.

Ducky is allergic to the oil – it made her itch like crazy and upset her tummy – so I had to stop giving it to her. Within a week the constant itching was a thing of the past, along with the upset tummy. (But now I’m wondering if it was the carrier oil and not the CBD oil itself.) I’ve been meaning to write a post about it since August, but things get a little nuts when a family member in the household is a dementia patient.

CBD works wonders! It helps keep Zachary’s seizures away, is helping Ellee’s pain.

Mom says I have to ride in the car, as it is part of life. We can’t walk everywhere, so this is a good solution.

Bailie has learned to relax with thunderstorms but just cuddling with Mom, but she is also a mess with fireworks.
Definitely looks like these treats are both delicious and helpful. Ruby has some separation anxiety and we have thought about trying CBD oil or treats with her. Glad to know they really work.
They are helpful. You just have to play with the dose the first couple times to get it right where it needs to be.

I take the oil too, but the treats are easier to give to a dog we find.
i just learned that there are different cbd’s for anxiety, and other things, it depends on the formula and what cbd is used.
We have only looked into anxiety uses for Bailie and the car rides. We know there are some kinds that work for pain, seizures and other things.
