Right before Christmas, the big, white, purple, and orange truck pulled up to our house and delivered a big box of tasty goodies for us pups! Bailie and I were super excited and carefully sniffed over the shipment to see exactly what was included!

After sniffing the merchandise, and having a discussion about what to eat first, we decided to give the Halo chicken dinner in a can a try. Actually, we have tried it before, but it has been a while since we had any, and we haven’t ever blogged about it.
Bailie and I met with the owner of Halo last spring and learned all about their brand. We love their food and treats because they are healthy for us, and taste so good. Halo also generously donates a bowl of food to shelters every time you buy Halo with their #HaloFeeditForward program. The chicken recipe is not only tasty, we have three ways we like to eat it!
About Halo Chicken Dinner In A Can
At our house, we like to eat our chicken dinner in a can either by itself, as a meal topper, or in our Kongs. What we love about Halo chicken recipe is that it is:
- made from whole meat and non-gmo vegetables
- no grains, meat-meals, hormones or antibiotics
- no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives
- the cans are bpa free
- wet food provides additional hydration
- made in the USA
Halo Chicken Dinner In A Bowl
One way to enjoy the Halo chicken dinner in a can is straight up wet food. Have your human empty the can into your dog bowl and savor the flavor! Bailie will even stand on her back paws to eat it right off the counter rather than waiting for it to be served on the floor.
Halo Chicken Dinner As A Topper
I’m a picky eater, but I love my Halo kibble. Even thought the kibble is super yummy, I sure love it when I get it topped off with some wet food, chicken dinner.
Halo Chicken Dinner In A Kong
The third way we enjoy the chicken dinner in a can is in our Kongs. Sometimes Mom freezes it, and sometimes we get it at room temperature, right out of the can. Can you tell we love it by how busy we are working on our Kongs?
Look at my sister, she even gets her tongue out because it is so good. She is a super fast eater compared to me.
In conclusion, both Bailie and I suggest you get your pup some chicken dinner in a can, or any of the other wet food varieties Halo offers. Not only is it good for your pup, she will love it!
