After I remembered I was expecting a deliver from Chewy.com, we headed back home to see if my snacks had arrived. I was in a big hurry because my tummy was calling me.
Thankfully, the guy in the big truck had come by while we were gone, and he left my package on the front step. Not having thumbs, I had to wait for my mom to open up the box for me. Humans can be so slow! Chewy.com has over 1000 brands, and so many items to choose from, I wasn’t even sure what I had ordered. Hopefully it is nothing for the cats!
Oh yes! I ordered Canidae Grain Free Biscuits with Bison and Butternut Squash. My thinking was big flavor because buffalo are big animals. Will these biscuits meet my expectations?
Naturally, I needed human help again to open the package. I could just rip it apart, but Mom isn’t a fan of opening treats that way.
As soon as the bag was open, I put my nose in to take in the smells. I was sure they would be something for me because they sure smelled great! Can you see how the aroma made my tongue pop out? They are grain free, crunchy, and made in the USA.
Although it seemed like hours to me, it was probably just a few minutes that I had to wait for my Canidae snacks. Mom forked over the first biscuit and I was ready!
My first biscuit was delicious. I was shocked to hear Mom say one is enough. I don’t think so was my thought as I took my nose back over to grab my own out of the bag! Did you know there are over thirty treats in each bag?
These Canidae snacks are super yummy. Bailie got to try some too and she also loves them. The only downside is that they can easily be broken in two. I recommend a full biscuit, but if your human is stingy, or you are super small, a half may work well. Head over to Chewy.com to check the Buffalo and Butternut Squash Biscuits out. A big GBGV Thank You to Chewy.com! They sent our Mom a surprise package last week. She loves chocolate and this box is full of chocolate goodies, and more! We sure appreciate you sending Mom something to snack on once and a while!

Wow those look good. Madison –I am as picky as you when it comes to treats. Its kind of funny because Dash was super picky so Mom always thought I would eat anything. Not true. Some mornings mom thinks I am channelling Dash and it makes her smile. By the way! We ordered Halo canned food. OH. MY. Goodness!!! I love it! I love it sooo much. Thanks for recommending it! Yay for the Halo food! Halo is made with such good ingredients, I love everything they have. The past month or so, I’ve started eating a lot and liking most food. Mom is happy because I’m so skinny, I need to gain some weight, and now she doesn’t have to fight with me to eat every meal, or my treats. Enjoy!

My mom totally understands. Lately, my palate has expanded to liking lots of things. Mom is thrilled because I need to put on some pounds and now that might actually happen.

Buffalo and butternut squash – what a unique flavor! Luke thinks they sound great too. Even though he usually gets treat while we’re on our walk, he still needs another one when we get home! We might have to add these to our next order. If Madison likes them, we know they’re good!! 🙂
We never get treats on our walks because Mom needs her hands to hang onto us both, and in the winter, there is the glove thing. Getting them when we are back home works for us. If we were only dogs, we would probably work on training and get some on our walks too.
I’m drooling a little bit looking at those treats..bison sure does sound nommy! The boyz like to stick to softer treats, but I don’t mind a good crunch every now and again!

I would never eat this bisuit treats until about five weeks ago. Suddenly, I started to like to eat all kinds of things. My mom is very thankful about this change in my eating habits.
They look healthy enough to snack on often.
It would just be the calories if you ate too many, but I need to gain weight, and Bailie always maintains, so we don’t worry much about that right now.
Bentley would love these treats! The boys both expect a treat after their walks.
We either get treats or a meal. Work, then food, that is the system around here.

Canidae came from Chewy for our review. The stuff for humans came from Chewy as a thank you, and I’m sure to keep Mom from feeling left out since we always get treats.
Butternut squash and bison – heck with the dogs – I’m ordering some for ME. ( I have to try all their food and treats first anyway) Karen
My mom is a picky eater, so we don’t have to worry about her getting into our treats, thankfully.
