Have your cats heard about the new stew and pate recipes? I recently got an email asking if my cats would like to try these purrfect new recipes. Bailie and I thought, why not? We tried wet food for dogs from this company last spring and found it to drool for. The gift box recently arrived, and the kitties were so into the food, they completely forgot to play in the box!
My GBGV Life received the Stew and Cats in the Kitchen Variety Pack of wet food from Weruva to review. My GBGV Life did not receive any monetary compensation for this review. Cat bro Bert was super excited when Mom opened up the gift box from Weruva for him. Kitty sis Sophie has never liked wet food, so Bert had his eyes on the entire prize!
Something Is Fishy!
Now Bert is a cat and not a scent hound, so he didn’t realize the boxes in the gift package contained food, but he did find the catnip fish in the box in no time flat! That fish was not going to be living much longer once Bert got a hold of him. He sure enjoyed that fishy surprise! Mom likes that she can add more catnip using the zipper on the belly, if the fish survives long enough.
What About The New Stew And Pate?
The gift box has a box of of Stir the Pot Stew, and a box of Cats in the Kitchen Pate Variety Pack. Each box has twelve pouches of food.
What is so awesome about the food being in a pouch, not in a can? It makes it super easy to serve! Simply slide n’ serve!
What makes the stew and pate recipes so great for kitties?
- Each of the stews are made with real ingredients
- Wild Caught Salmon in every recipe is an excellent source of Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids that promote healthy skin and coat for your kitty
- The pate is pureed to make sure the proteins taste delicious
- No Grain, Gluten, or Carrageenan
- Each pouch of stew provides your cat with a healthy and balance meal
The Taste Test
Bert was most unpleasantly surprised when Sophie showed up and also wanted to try out these recipes. Mom decided to give Bert the Stir the Pot Stew in his NorthMate interactive feeder, and Sophie would test the Cats in the Kitchen Pate The Karate Kitty Recipe.
By the way, another great thing about the pouches of wet food for kitties from Weruva is that they are BPA free, and recyclable!
No surprise, Bert dove right into his stew. He just loved it, but he was not thrilled about how hard it was to get out of his slow feeder. Thankfully, the feeder is dishwasher safe, or it can be hand washed. He loves the stew!
We know the food has to be tasty when finicky Sophie wants to eat wet food. She has never, ever, eaten wet food. She actually cleaned out her entire bowl of Karate Kitty Pate! What are the six flavors in the variety pack?
- The Karate Kitty
- The Breakfast Cat
- Meowiss Bueller
- Cat Times At Fridgemont
- CattyShack
- Cat To The Future
Here you can see a short video of Bert and Sophie enjoying their Weruva Recipes.
Bert And Sophie’s Conclusion
Bert couldn’t pry himself away from his dish long enough to give an opinion which we believe speaks for itself. Sophie, our lady cat actually gave it a tongue out for taste. That is amazing for her! Both kitties find it purrfect! We are glad we ordered this special treat for our kitties!

I hope they saved me some heheh!
Have a tanfastical weekend π
Those cats polished off their portions in no time flat.
That was a great review and they sure liked it. We’ll have to try those before too long!
Thank you. They were wild about it, and it is the first time Sophie has ever wanted to eat wet food.
Bert I think we come over to help you with that fab food ;O)
We help out Bert sometimes, but he does not appreciate it at all!
Oh that does look like good food. We sure want to get some of that. And the vet yesterday told us that the wet food is much better for cats than the dry food. So thanks a lot for the info. Have a good day.
Mom has know wet food is better, but she never gets it because it is messy. This wasn’t too messy, and the kitties loved it.
That interactive feeder looks like lots of fun, Bert, and I bet the foodables sprinkled all over those purple spikes made it taste even better!
Bert gets mad at the feeder because he likes to gulp down his food, but he can’t. It works well to slow him down.
It’s a wonderful thing when you find a product that they love. Kitties can be ever so picky. It’s wonderful to see you have two kitties.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your peeps. β₯
Yes, we do share our home with the felines and sometimes they like to borrow our blog.
Our cat is a bit of a picky eater, which we find amazing. He has had some Weruva in cans before and liked them, we may let our mom get him some more. We are going to find that feeder for him too. Mom has gotten him the no-bowl feeders (Doc&Phoebe) so he can entertain himself, but that only works for kibble. He needs some more entertainment since he doesn’t appreciate us chasing him.
Weruva wet food is tasty. We had some last spring and were crazy about it. The fact that Sophie who always walks away from wet food polished off her entire portion is a good sign! The interactive feeder really slows down Bert. He has been using it for several years now, and Mom loves that it is washable.
I know Bert will eats just about anything. Happy that Sophie enjoyed her eating experience! I am not quite sure what a cat really is? XOXO, Sparkle
They are furry creatures that steal your stuff, but are fun to chase around the house until you get caught. Not sure if we really love having kitties or not, but we are family no matter what.
Ohhh Bones would love those!
If Sophie loves it, any cat would love it!
This food sounds like a clear winner.
My kitties sure think so.
Looks like a couple of very happy kitties!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
They loved that food, and Bert loved the toy until he ate the face and tail and Mom had to take it away!
The food must be as good as it sounds for Sophie to eat it too.
I haven’t seen those slow feeders before and think it is a really good idea. Over the years we have had a couple of cats who bolted their food so fast that it came right back up. It would have been ideal for them.
Bert will gulp it down and get sick, so he has had the interactive feeder for several years now. It supposedly recreates a hunting feeling between the blades of grass.
It’s nice to see your kitties!! Sam would not go for the pate, but she might like that stew. We’ve had other products from this company and do like them.
Bailie and I almost destroyed their table at BlogPaws trying to get to the wet dog food they had out. I guess the cat version is pretty tasty too!
