Teamwork is the latest plan Bailie and I have come up with for capturing those evil squirrels. Do you think our team effort will bring us some success?
Weβre joining Comedy Plus for some Wordless Wednesday fun. Amazingly, we are almost wordless this week!
Please come help us scare away the “evil squirrel-ies” that keep messing with our bird feeders!
Aren’t they just rotten. We had a bird feeder for the kitties to watch birds, but the squirrels kept coming by, so we gave up on it.
Rolling on the the floor laughing my furry butt off! I just ignore those pesky rodents. My mom says there is something wrong with me. XOXO, Sparkle
My mom wishes we would ignore them because they make us so nuts, but we cannot. You need to hunt them down. How could you resist, we don’t understand that at all.
Hahaha! Nice try but, y’all can’t climb trees, so good luck with that. π You are both adorable, though. β₯
We try hard, but never seem to get the tree climbing down. Such a bummer.
Good luck sweeties, you might need a shorter tree too!
I bet you kitties could help us out by climbing up and sending those creatures down to us.
absolutely, that is a super idea to bring that squirrels to you ;O)
Mom says there were not that many squirrels in Germany. Maybe we should move there?
They are adorable and great photo! Have fun ^_^
Happy Day to you,

Thank you. We enjoyed hunting together.
Love this photo ~ sweet terriers and your bassett header is great too!

ps. did post a comment before ~ didn’t see it so here I am again ^_^
Keep working on it, girls! Callie, Shadow, and Ducky actually CAUGHT one together four or five years ago. It was a smart little critter, though – it played dead while I got the girls away from him and took off like a bat out of Hades when I went back to check on him.
OMD! That would be our dream! Wabbits are easy prey, but squirrels are so elusive!
Teamwork definitely helps! Now you need mom to make you a ring of stairs (so you do not fall off) around the tree and top it so it can not grow any taller.
What a great idea!
We think teamwork is the best plan when chasing those little squirrels around. Looks like you have a good plan already to surround the tree so there is no way down. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful day.
Now if we could only climb the tree…
Looks like back to the drawing board for a new plan.
LOL! Story of our squirrel hunting life.
They are indeed evil. Our Little Bit did the very same thing you’re doing. Never caught one, but tried for years.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a woof woof Wordless Wednesday. My best to your mom. β₯
Our late sister Emma actually got squirrel furs in her mouth while on leash. The critters were so busy chasing each other they didn’t notice Emma. She lunged and nicked one of the tails, but then he got away.
Shake them out of that tree and plan a squirrel stew! They are such irritating creatures!
Wouldn’t a nice warm bowl of squirrel stew be heavenly in this winter weather?
Are you patient enough to wait it out? Who will get bored and lose interest first if it doesn’t come down? We think Bailie. π
We hunt a lot like cats actually. We will wait and watch, then strike. This was the strike part, but those rats climbed the tree!
Hopefully – me and Brinley has caught rats as a team.
Wow! That is super impressive!
We are rooting for you! Those tree rats are slippery critters and have thrown acorns at us before. Grrr!
They usually throw them at our mom when we are walking. They are nasty teasing creatures.
Teamwork is always a good idea! Y’all are so cute today.
Thank you. We were working hard, but didn’t catch a single squirrel.
Lol! looks like you are trying to shake them out of the tree!

We would do anything to get one to drop down into our open jaws.
Squirrels are needed, the nuts they bury often sprout and so they plant forests. Maybe you could just chase them but let them get away to do their little squirrel thing.
They may be necessary but there are way too many around here. If we could grab just a few, no one would even notice.
Such great teamwork.
We figured working as a team would be a good idea.
Dory and I used to do the same thing girls…and those pesky tree rats still eluded us!!
xoxo,
Jakey
It is so darn frustrating!
Your fur babies are too cute!!! Love the photo.
Thank you. We are hard working hunters.
They say it takes a village. In this case, I believe it!
I think every hound in the village would need to help to capture just one of those rotten pests.
SQUIRRELS!
Theyβre here too!?
?nose nudges?
We are pretty sure they are plotting to take over the world.
Well, you are hounds and if anyone can do it, my money is on you and Bailie.
So far, no luck but we don’t ever intend to give up.
