Snow cave hunger is a real thing. Just being outside in the cold burns extra calories keeping the body warm. Building a real snow cave here in Minnesnowta is also hard work, so I really enjoy some tasty, healthy snacks. My friend Frosty and I were hanging out the other day, wondering how we could get something to eat in our snow cave.

Thank dog for technology! A girl can simply order up snacks from Chewy.com on her smartphone and have them delivered right to her snow cave. Chewy.com always delivers in two to three days, and it is free if your order is $49 or more! What a great deal for me and Frosty! Did you know that Chewy.com also has a pharmacy? We order some of our items from there, and it works great! Compare the pricing, and I bet you will switch to Chewy.com!
Frosty and I decided to order up some Natural Balance L.I.D. Grain Free Chewy Bites, Lamb Formula, to satisfy our snow cave hunger. Our order arrived fast as usual, and we could not wait to dig in!
Let’s look at what makes these Chewy Bites so tasty and good for dogs and snowmen.
- Treats are made with real lamb for the protein your dog needs to fuel her muscles.
- There is just one animal protein source and two primary sources of carbohydrates, ideal for pups on a limited ingredient diet.
- 100% free of grains, fillers, potatoes and chicken for dogs with food sensitivities.
- No artificial flavors, colors or fillers.
- The pieces are fairly small, but can be broken into smaller pieces, as needed.
No review would be a good review if the star did not test the product. I was very happy to dig in and enjoy the flavor of these lamb bites! The only downside I could find is that they are gone far too fast! For some reason, Frosty did not want to participate in the taste test, so I ate his portion too! At just seven calories a treat, I can definitely handle some of Frosty’s treats.

Now that was a totally adorable review!
Thank you. Nothing beats a cozy snow cave.
I agree! Totally adorable
Thank you. I like it in my cave.
What a marvelous snow cave! Sometimes I miss Minnesnowta…the cold, the snow, and the fun. Yep, Chewy has some of my dog stuff too. XOXO, Sparkle
I bet you would love a snow visit to my cave for some snacks!
Those sound like the perfect treats to have while hanging out in your snow cave, which is very cool (or is that cold??). π
Cool hound in a super cool cave π
that is totally true… snow cave hunger sure can happen and before it becomes a snow cave hung-over that tasty treats came in time to you and Frosty ;O)
Staying warm and building a cave is hard work!
I love your cave!
It’s pretty small, so I can’t have more than one guest, but I like that it is cozy.
What a great wonderful way to keep up your energy in all the snow! Too cute β€οΈ
Snow is quite tiring, but fun. We need energy to keep going.
I love your cave! Not enough snow down here in IL for a cave, but we can relate to the cold and cold hunger! I’m always amazed at how fast Chewy delivers. Sometimes our order comes in 24 hours, which is pretty incredible and great customer service.
We have plenty of snow these days. Chewy is always quick, but never 24 hours to our house. I think it depends on where the closest distribution center is.
That’s a fabulous review. You did an outstanding job. Yes, when it’s cold we need more food.
Have a woof woof day. My best to your mom. β₯
Mom says cold and snow burns more calories so we can eat more. What a great deal, more fun and more food!
Snow caves look like the pawfect place to eat some nommy Chewy Bites!!

Snow caves are very fun and warm, but a girl does need some energy food too.
