A canine guilty pleasure, sweet and savory, really? Oh yes! Lately, I’ve been watching a lot of those food shows on TV, where they are always making sweet and savory guilty pleasures for humans. I finally found one for dogs, and I can’t wait to share it with you!

We travel a lot for our dog sports, and travel seems to really make a girl hungry. It seems like most treats are chicken, or beef. As a #ChewyInfluencer, I wanted something more. Something indulgent. My chicken and I were excited to see what Chewy.com had sent me to review this month. After a long drive in snow, ice, and rain, I needed something to pick me up!
My Guilty Pleasure!
What was inside the magical box? A bag of Rachael Ray Nutrish Chicken ‘N Waffle Bites Dog Treats! I’m a serious waffle lover, and chicken is high on my list of favorite foods too. How would this sweet and savory combination work out?
These snacks sure smell good. Why do I have to waste so much time waiting to taste things? Wouldn’t you all be happy with just one photo, so I could get to eating my treats quicker?
It was pretty amazing when the treats were taken out of their bag. There were cute chicken drumsticks and small waffles! Mom read the package to make sure these were not junk food, and we were pleasantly surprised!

The drumsticks look pretty big, but trust me, they are gone in no time flat. Even the family food snob ate one when given the chance. She only eats really good foods.
Waffles were the only downside to this guilty pleasure in a bag. We found ten or so chicken legs, but only two waffles. I really love waffles and expected a fifty, fifty mix. The two waffles we did get out of the bag were quite tasty! All the good snacks really helped me recover quickly from the stressful drive last weekend!

That is a question we don’t know the answer too, but we did find it odd there were only two waffles.

My mom loves chicken and loves waffles, but she won’t eat them together either.

Once and a while, Mom makes pancakes or waffles for breakfast on the weekend and we get some. Super yummy, just like these waffles. Bummer there were only two in the bag.
