Dogs with travel anxiety are a real thing! We travel a lot, and Bailie tends to get stressed out in the car. She has trouble relaxing, likes to pant, and keeps moving around as if she can’t get comfortable. Luckily, we have found something to help her stay calm in the car, and we don’t leave home without it.
My GBGV Life received the Treatiblesยฎ Full Spectrum Hemp Oil Single Serving Ready Packs and the Soft Chews in this post to review. My GBGV Life receives no additional benefits for barking about Treatibles products or the company. The opinions in this review are the honest opinion of My GBGV Life. Treatibles is not responsible for the contents of this post.
We received Treatibles Full Spectrum Hemp Oil Single Serving Ready Packs, and Soft Chews for dogs. Bailie was excited to give both of these products a try since she is one of many dogs with travel anxiety. She says she no longer wants to leave home without her Treatibles!
What Exactly Are Treatibles Products
Treatibles products are safe and non-toxic. Their unique source material is registered as hemp due to its low THC content (less than .3%). Every batch is tested to confirm cannabinoid count and rule out heavy metals and biocontaminants. The hemp oil in all Treatibles products comes from their own organic hemp farm in South Carolina. It is cultivated with 100% organic practices that exceed USDA organic regulations.
All Treatibles products can be helpful in bringing calm, ease and balance to pets through the proprietary organic full spectrum hemp oil. The final products are tested to ensure consistency and potency.
Full Spectrum Hemp Oil Single Serving Ready Packs
Since we were traveling several weekends in a row, we decided to test one of the products on each weekend. My mom was super curious about the Ready Packs, so we decided to try those out first on our trip to Iowa.
What we love about the Ready Packs:
- Small, and easy to take along on the road.
- Portions are in individual packages for dogs up to fifty pounds.
- No tools are needed to open a pack.
- Bailie had no problem taking it right into her mouth.
- Relief is very quick.
What we did not like:
- Both times Mom opened a pack, it got a bit messy with the hemp oil getting on her fingers.
Overall opinion:
It worked really well for Bailie. She got her dose about fifteen minutes before getting into the car and it seemed to keep her calm for the entire four hour car ride. Mom loves the single portions, and the small convenient size she can just stick in her purse. It must taste good too, because Bailie was excited to have it put into her mouth without any treats or anything.
Treatibles Soft Chews For Dogs
The idea of soft chews rather than the oil seems quite appealing. We received the sixty count package, and according to the directions Bailie would need two treats. The soft chews got their test on our trip to Moline.
What we love about the soft chews:
- Absolutely no mess.
- The chews are a nice size, and don’t break or crumble in their container.
- For dogs who love treats, it is an easy way to get them some relief.
What we did not like:
- Bailie actually needed three to four chews to calm down in the car.
- The time from getting the chew to feeling calm was longer than with the oil.
- Carrying the soft chews around is not as convenient as the oil.
Overall opinion:
We think the soft chews would be a better solution for home than when traveling. They do work, but it seems like Bailie needed more of them than we expected, and the activation time was also longer.
Treatibles For Dogs With Travel Anxiety, Yes Or No
We vote yes for Treatibles! Bailie was much calmer in the car as you can see in the photo. Rather than sitting up, panting, drooling a bit, and being restless, she was able to lie down, and just hang out. The Ready Packs are our choice for the future as they are so very convenient. I know Bailie doesn’t want to head out onto the highway without her dose of Treatibles.
If your dog suffers from travel anxiety, or any other form of anxiety, you should really give Treatibles a try. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the relief it provides for your dog.
Wanting more treats sounds pretty normal to me sweet Bailie!
I do love to eat pretty much anything, anytime.
The world sure is changing! So happy it helps Miss Bailie in her many travels. My mom says she sure needed that for Maggie, and that she was a hot mess in the car. I am pretty calm in the car. XOXO, Sparkle
Bailie has always been a nervous Nelly in the car, but now she settles down a lot with the oil.
we hope we will get it here too once .. that sounds like a very good treatment without after and side effects and it can do so much…
It is great because a few hours later it is all gone.
We LOVE Treatibles and depend on them to help the Bayou Boys stay calm. I have a 10% discount code on my blog if you want to save some money on your next order!
We know you guys have been using them for a long time. This is our first try with them. The oil works really well for Bailie.
Yes, the oil saved the boys’ sanity while we were moving. LOL!
Great review and we love your French beret and flip-up sunglasses, Bailie!
I have my own sense of fashion, and I like it ๐
I think this is a wonderful product. Whatever makes you more comfortable to travel. Your mom rocks.
Have a woof woof day. My best to your smart mom. โฅ
It helps my mom relax when I’m not a big mess in the back seat.
I’m glad those work for Bailie, that must be hard when you travel so much.
It is nice as long as Bailie has some of the oil. She gets it shortly before we leave and then she is pretty mellow for the ride.
Love to learn about new (to me at any rate) products! thanks!
These are both new products from Treatibles.
I only know one dog who doesn’t like to drive in a car ! All the others adore it ! One of my cats loves driving too !
Bailie is just uneasy about it.
We definitely have better luck with the hemp oil as opposed to the treats. Those Ready Packs are definitely a good idea for those that are on the go like you a lot!
I’m glad to know the oil working better is not just in our case.
We agree, Jakey is also much calmer in the car with Treatibles! Although, for some reason, he hasn’t been as fond of the soft treats as he is with the crunchy biscuits.
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
Bailie usually will eat anything, but we find the oil works best for her.
What a great product! Now i wonder if they make something similar for cats.
You are in luck. They have the same products in a feline version. Have a look on their website.
Thanks for the tip! We will try these at some point.
You’re welcome. Bailie really likes the oil.
Chews always seem to take longer to get in the system than the oils, and they are less potent in comparison. When you want to avoid the mess of oils, it’s what you have to accept. Personally we like oils in a small bottle with a dropper-a few drops on a piece of chicken jerky and boom, no anxiety. Good luck on your trip.
Our first CBD oil has a dropper which Mom just puts right into Bailie’s mouth and she loves it. For her oil is the better choice, mess or no mess.
Thanks for the review. Glad they seemed to work for Bailie. Luckily my dogs have no problems in the car.
Bailie has never been relaxed in the car for some reason.
